2012 Accord 6cyl fix

Honda Accord 2012 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 5A
This is an intermittent recurring issue with the vehicle. When making a slow speed turn, typically accelerating from a traffic light or stop sign, the engine will not respond to the accelerator being depressed. This occurs if i have to lift off of the accelerator and reapply pressure, due to traffic slowing around turns or other driving conditions that necessitate lifting off of the gas pedal and then stepping on it the problem has not happened when going straight, only on turns. There have been times where this has proven to be unnerving and potentially dangerous as there were vehicles approa… Read complete

Dr. VentureYT from United States 4 years ago
What you need is the EPS or Pedal Position Sensor. It's the actual pedal assembly. Since these cars are "fly by wire" there is no push/pull cable it's all electric now.

Ok awesome thank you the dealership that's closest to me has been of no help at all but I actually got it towed down to where I bought the car originally and their going through the entire car for me since it's still under warranty and I did mention that peddle assembly to them so im glad I was correct about assuming that's what it was haha well see in a day or so when they call me what they all did but thank you for your quick reply I really appreciate it! Take care:)

Honda Accord 2015 4.3 138000 miles
My 2015 accord sport was running fine then the next day I went to start it and it crank up then spit and sputtered before dying and wouldn't crank back up. I had water in my gas tank so drained it and added new gas still nothing... The main chip in my ECU turned out to be damaged so got a new one but the car won't communicate with it. The honda dealership says it's acting like it's been struck by lighting which it hasn't... any suggestions??

Problem Accord 2013 Sport 4cyl 6M

Honda Accord 2013 Sport Sedan 2.4L 6M
2013 honda accord sport has had its trunk open by itself on multiple occasions. The trunk has never opened on it own while in motion but when it is parked. It is only discovered when i walk back to the car and see the trunk cracked open. This is a security/safety breach in my case as i sometimes will keep firearms in the security of the trunk leading to the potential of stolen firearms from an open trunk. I have not been able to determine the cause of the trunk randomly opening. This has happened to me at least 3 times throughout the ownership of the car.

Grounding/electrical/starting/lights

Honda Accord 1997 2 Dr coupe 2.2 ltr 250000 miles
Driving the other day and a couple of times when I was braking the battery light came on. Checked the belts on Alt. Batt. Cbl. Etc. Everything is fine doesn't happen again then I go to store car started fine. Go to stay and it clicks and dash lights all blink. So I get a jump it takes a bit but when I try to stay out I notice the security light blinks twice after I've turned ign. To off pos. While I'm driving home all lights are surging when I use the pwr. Wind. Butt. I can hear it bog as it dims. BTW it's a brand new Alt. I turn it off when I get home and try to restart it does the same clicking.

My husband and I have spent the last two weeks trying to figure out why our 2000 Honda Accord EX 3.0 V6 Sedan stopped running and we have been unsuccessful in our efforts. The car began hesitating and losing power when accelerating or going uphill. We thought it was a fuel filter problem, but we learned that the 2000 Accord sedan doesn't have a fuel filter, in the traditional sense; apparently it is built into the fuel pump and is not a serviceable or replaceable part. We had inherited the car with an oil leak, about 1 quart per 20 miles, of course we located and fixed that problem right awa… Read complete

Mine was like that until I changed the fuel injectors. Around the 270k mile mark. And the MAP sensor. Those 2 things got me outta the woods misfiring over 3krpm. The old injectors looked and tested fine, but were nonetheless the issue. When i got the new ones in? Bingo. Note: i also had new sparks and coils first, and a clean throttle body, intake hose, and manifold. These were pretty dirty.

Issues Accord 2014 EX-L V-6 4dr 3.5L 6cyl

Honda Accord 2014 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 6A
Came out one morning to go to work and found all four car windows and sunroof slightly opened. The w j nodes and sunroof opened by themselves. Unfortunately, there was a severe thunderstorm that night which rain entered the car. It's a 2014 honda accord. I googled the problem and found out that this has been happening going back 7 years that people windows and sunroof were opened without them doing so. It's been occurring in honda and acura models. They try to say that we must have done it by the remote; but i don't use the remote, i use the car handle to open the door and the black button to lock and secure the door. I believe this is a manufacturer issue and not a consumer issue. *tr

Trunk opens for no apparent reason. This usually happens two or three times a month when the car is parked. Sometimes it happens in the middle of the night when both keys are 50 feet or so from the car and no one is near them. Obviously not a safety issue but it does make it impossible to secure anything of value in the trunk. Honda refuses to admit there is a problem because it won't happen while they are standing there looking at the car. Some of my friends who own the same type of honda are having this same exact problem.
