Idels to high after its warm up...however you can hear it try to idle down but it will not...any help please...

My 2001 ford f150 5.4l will sometimes idle at high rpm when parked and the gas pedal is not pressed.

While driving and reaching around 30 mph. The truck does a winning sound and then does a hard shift.

Truck will rev really high during start it won't rev down it stuck on 1200 rpm any solution?

94 f150 idles fine until warmed up then idle goes up to 1600 rpms and won't idle down causes tranny to shift hard and shifts down constantly like I'm passing.

Ok so the other day i was driving my f150, i was doin about 55mph when all of a sudden my truck rev'd up and the car didnt go anywhere...then i let off the gas and and it slammed and caught and kept goin but it keeps doin it, does anyone have any idea what this could be...thanx

When I start it, either with the engine cold or hot, it accelerates a lot and revolutions go up, but almost immediatly it normalized. What could it be?

Occasionally slips out of overdrive causing tach to read several hundred rpms higher and “off” light on end of shifter blinks.

I can start my truck and it will idle fine in park or neutral
As soon as i put a load on it will start getting rough and stall out
In park it will idle for a bit till it gets warm then does the same as in drive
When i step on gas it will sometimes get the rpms to move but when i let off the gas the
Rpm stay up for a couple seconds then go down and stall
On diagnostics it will say im not getting a reading from crank phase sensor bank 2
Replaced sensor 3 times and still same thing

It was working fine and the next day I used it I felt the truck heavy, it didn't have the normal acceleration, and then I realized it didn't have the power to go uphill, it went sluggishly and when the revolutions go up it started shuddering. With the scanner it showed errors P0755, P1747 and P0743, I was told it might be the gas pump, but the failure continues. It's a 2008 mexican Ford truck, 8 cilinders and 4.6L engine with automatic transmission.

Got gas and then the problems started. Changed out 5 coil packs, all new plugs. New purge control valve. New fuel pump. Checked fuses and relay. Truck will start, rev up and then die. I hear a clicking sound near the kick panel fuse box just before it dies. Snap-On scanner is showing Code B10F1

First start after sitting overnight. Rpms go up the down right away to about 300 then back up to about 900. Put truck in reverse and truck stalls out. This does not occur every time. Does the same when I put in drive

It starts normally and after a while the revolutions go up and down until it stabilizes again. Like 20 minutes afterwards it starts doing the same until it shuts off. The throttle body was cleaned, the spark plugs and cables were changed, but it does the same until shutting off.

I can put truck in reverse it goes in gear but will only Rev up and won't move same thing when it's in 1st gear

So please and thank u to anyone that can help me and or give me some tips on what to do it would vary appriated

My truck wants to stall at low speeds. When I put the truck in neutral then Rev up the engine and pit it in drive it runs fine until I slow down again then it does the same thing. The garage changed the cam sensors but that didn't correct the problem. They suggest increasing the velocity of engine oil and or putting synthetic in to increase the oil pressure. Any thoughts?

When I reach about 35mph the engine begins to Rev up and will not get up to speed limit and if I happen reach the speed limit on a strait stretch it will slowly lose power and drop to 40-45mph and just Rev when I try to accelerate

Starts up ok. PRND12 engages fine. Just take off high rpm shoot up an if it goes into neutral zone.

The truck will Rev really high but won't catch speed got home today and seen smoke coming right out of the front of the transmission

So sometime my car like stop on the stop sign then when I go, then he’s just stuck in first shift first gear if it’s like automatic but then after a few minutes, just let go RPM goes high then it’s just jump and goes to the next gear and

5.0l 2015 238,500km (145000ish miles) runs fine, idels at 550rpm after warm up. The problem is intermittent, where after you drive for about an hour and only sometimes coming to a full stop, the truck will shut off. Addiontial the first few times (specifically 2x) the low engine oil pressure would flash in as the engine stuff off, with a breif maybe second of a shake. Every other time it just shut off like its a feature. (its not) No codes stored. Overall truck seems healthy.

Ok I got my truck and it runs fine in reverse but when I put it in drive it runs really sluggish and the RPM's are very high . I changed out the throttle body and sensor then I ran a code tester and got the code for the speed control sensor. But none of that fixed my problem it still won't run right in drive . And 💡's

Starts good idels good revs good put in gear give it gas and nothing will not go or rev up

When is saturated it is that adds up to about 3200 RPMs then it falls down if you keep it to the floor or pump the pedal and eventually rev up and get through the bargaining stage sometimes it won't even stall out are running just fine most of the time it will bogg
