We just purchased the Ford f150 just last week. Not even a week with it today, driving back home drops to zero in oil, turns off, hand wheel gets stuck and says oil pressure is low. How is it low if I barely got the truck? I feel like I was riped off. Good thing is I got the warranty for it.

I started to leave from a stop sign and kicked it down a little and the truck stalled and the low oil pressure light came on. I pulled over and checked the oil it was fine. I then went to start it and it started fine and the gauge for oil pressure was normal. I drove it home about 2 miles. The next morning I went to start it and it will turn over but will not start.

My oil pressure gauge runs between the N on normal and the L for low. Normally closer to the L. The truck does use oil and I try to keep it full. I have a test gauge, but I'm unsure where to hook it to test the pressure at.

Just about everytime you turn the truck off this loud noise like pressure trying to escape, its not the IWC (tested an passed) and I did replace the oil pressure switch but light remains on, does seem like the oil has a faint fuel smell. It doesn't have a Ford oil filter (ive read that could cause issues with this motor) but I did get a oil change because process of elimination with some of the diag ive done. I haven't checked the pcv value or test the fuel thing on the driver value cover yet or ac and alt. But does seem like the noise is up top

I was driving on the freeway doing about 90 when I lost all oil pressure and then I just heard metal on metal…. There goes those bearings… anyways, I don’t understand what went wrong I mean I’m definitely not a mechanic but I’m also not fully retarded either hahaha anybody have any ideas??

Low oil pressure alert oil is new topped off i believe fuse related , dash alerts low oil pressure and revs only to 3rpm 2021 ford f150 ………. ,,,, fuse.

Is there a fuse for oil pressure warning lamp to make it stop going off sensors been replaced an lights still going off

At the start, engine has a sound like hitting something, and after a couple minutes, warning low oil pressure, but back to the normal when I accelerate, sometimes appears the warning in high rpm (2500) and doesn't recover with the gas pedal. I have codes of crankshaft position sensor problems. I'm thinking to replace timing chain, but before start, any advices?

My truck wants to stall at low speeds. When I put the truck in neutral then Rev up the engine and pit it in drive it runs fine until I slow down again then it does the same thing. The garage changed the cam sensors but that didn't correct the problem. They suggest increasing the velocity of engine oil and or putting synthetic in to increase the oil pressure. Any thoughts?

Purchased truck brand new on January 30 of this year. On April 20th, while driving on us 322 the low oil pressure light came on and the engine immediately began banging. After limping to the curb lane and avoiding an accident, I shut the vehicle down and had it towed to the nearest dealer. Next morning they call and tell me that the engine is blown due to defective oil pump. No warning from the truck, nothing. I use the vehicle for getting around and do not tow anything with it. I have see where others have experienced the same thing. 40k truck that runs for 80 days. $500.00 per day!

THINKING PCM INTERNAL FAILURE !!! 2 codes for cylinder deactivation 6&7 in particular might be messing with the electronic lash adjusters causing an audible tick and marbles in a can Sound upon acceleration and deceleration. No Sound on cold start when oil pressure is high and oil is thick ?
But once it heats up a tick is very noticeable.

Truck runs for about 30 minutes then shuts off, rpms bottom out and the oil pressure gauge bottoms out but if I let it sit for an hour or so it turns back on and does the same thing.

Hi, im having issue as of latley where the truck sometimes takes longer to start and sometimes its like a hard start. In addtion, the also coming to a stop or just placing to reverse shuts off all lf sudden with a “low oil pressure sign” and follwed by a noticalbe engine shaking and a yellow wrench light. Is this issue related to the powertrain control module ?

5.0l 2015 238,500km (145000ish miles) runs fine, idels at 550rpm after warm up. The problem is intermittent, where after you drive for about an hour and only sometimes coming to a full stop, the truck will shut off. Addiontial the first few times (specifically 2x) the low engine oil pressure would flash in as the engine stuff off, with a breif maybe second of a shake. Every other time it just shut off like its a feature. (its not) No codes stored. Overall truck seems healthy.

I was driving somewhere car was running at 5:00 so like they're screamed at me and said I had no oil pressure I put a new battery in it and new starter and it's still not cranking I did have no one point fuses popping clicking but I don't have that

2008 5.4 Triton motor with just over 100k started making loud rattle noises just replaced spark plugs (lucky only1 broke) noise continued oil pressure gage in truck ok separate gage showed 15psi.
