2018 F-150 5.0 - Engine Rattle and Oil Consumption

Ford F-150 2018 5.0 Coyote 127000 miles
I have a 2018 Ford F-150 5.0L. My truck has developed an engine rattle, especially at idle and when letting off the accelerator. I've also noticed that the engine oil level slowly drops over time. While inspecting the engine, I found a small amount of oil around what appears to be a sensor or electrical component on the front driver's side valve cover. I cleaned the area, but after a few weeks a small amount of oil came back. There are no visible oil leaks underneath the truck and there is currently no check engine light. Has anyone experienced these same symptoms? What ended up being the cause?

Could be broken timing parts as far as slides and guides and your chain is slapping inside of the front of the casing on the front of the motor as that sensor is either your VCT or your cam sensor it syncs with the crank sensor I’m not sure which one a coyote has. I’ve never owned one, but if you’ve got a really loud rattle at idle, and when you let off that normally means either phases or timing or really badly it could be a bad rocker/bent lifter where the rocker bearing wore out and bitch just popped out of place and or bent to lift a rod basically and just enough to make it hit the sidewall of its guide just enough to make a rattle bit more than likely it’s either your phaser Bank two phaser or your whole timing set. Definitely get a lift as soon as possible. Otherwise it could a new engine minimum.
