Ford F-150 2018 5.0 Coyote 127000 miles
I have a 2018 Ford F-150 5.0L. My truck has developed an engine rattle, especially at idle and when letting off the accelerator. I've also noticed that the engine oil level slowly drops over time. While inspecting the engine, I found a small amount of oil around what appears to be a sensor or electrical component on the front driver's side valve cover. I cleaned the area, but after a few weeks a small amount of oil came back. There are no visible oil leaks underneath the truck and there is currently no check engine light. Has anyone experienced these same symptoms? What ended up being the cause?
