Hi everyone, I have a Suzuki Swift 1.0 BoosterJet (K10C engine) with an intermittent problem that I haven't been able to solve. The car runs normally most of the time, but when accelerating hard or putting the engine under load, the check engine light comes on and the engine starts misfiring and losing power. The fault is related to cylinder 1 (P0301 – Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected). I recently took the car for a service and a battery change. I noticed that when nthey binstalled the battery they did not place a backup supply on the OBD port as everything had zero'd, clock radio etc etc. The guy said thats only needed on start stop vehicles. ( i am not stupid ). Since the battery change the following errors have appeared to which the mechanic claims that the cameras break very easily and also because we are in a very hot country and the sun burns them they break easily.
