I hooked the battery up backwards but sense then i have replaced the battery the altinator twice and the main fuse plate what else could it be

I previously brought the car to the dealership, where they recharged the battery and verified that the voltage levels were correct, but the issue persists. I request your assistance in diagnosing the root cause of this problem, as the battery is new and the previous checks have not resolved it. "

I have a 2006 vw jetta tdi automatic, before it failed completly when i turned the key it would crank slowley a few times and then normally and start. Battery is new now. Starter has been replaced and the replacement tested and working. I witnessed it spinning in the test. When I turn the key it will not engage the starter or turn over. The lights do not dim and everything else seems to work ok. Any suggestion on what to try next?

I have check alternator out is ok and wiring continuity also ok some time i have on the ignition found battery light is glowing for 10-15 seconds and off suddenly

I'm not getting power to my ignition

I have a Jetta A 4 2002 and, when driving, it suddenly jerks, EPC and oil indicators turn on and it loses power until it stalls. I try to speed it up but it won't answer properly. Only after 20-30 minutes the engine will start again. The car has been tuned, the battery, oil pump and air sensor changed but it keeps doing the same thing. Can anyone help me? It really worries me when I'm driving and it suddenly stalls.

Just replaced the battery and now car died while on freeway just dead.

My car makes a click-click sound when accelerating around 12mph, and when stopping around 8mph (stopping with brakes or by just letting car coast to a stop on its own. The sound seems to be coming from under the dashboard, towards the odb plug.

My car has been making this sound for some time, but it seems to be more often after replacing my battery after it died.

We bought new. After 7 months of ownership, car completely died at stop light. Was able to restart. Happens intermittently. Twice have returned to parked car and completely dead. Now this weekend this happened, started back up after 24 hours just to die again. After 3 minutes it started again. We have taken it to the dealership and they replaced the battery and the control unit after the first 3 times but obviously this didn’t fix it.

Ok, it is our daughters VW Jetta 2009 77TDI. She first took it to a vw service centre (Australia) had a power loss and a clinking noise (not engaging) but does start. They put it on their system and came up with zero, then they update the computer and re did and it said, injectors. But zero for the starting. She brought injector cleaner and that fixed it, but still the same on starting. She had already replaced the battery (which turns out is the wrong battery 500 cca) She decided to sell the car, but a mechanic told her she need a new starter motor (this was during the road worthy inspection)… Read complete

Doesn't crank. All the fuses are good. Battery is good 12.6 volt. No cranking at all. I hooked up the ECU from another jetta, same result. Looks like whether immobilizer issue, or ignition switch, or ground wire.

I have a 2014 Jetta. I changed the battery and now my bluetooth doesn't show up in the media menu. I tried unplugging the module under the passenger seat, disconnected the battery and tried resetting the radio all with no results. Any ideas on next steps for troubleshooting this?

EPC cans on car shuts off after about 20 minutes of driving it. I haven’t driven the car in about two years now trying to pretty much sell it for scraps because I don’t know what to do with it can’t afford to get it worked on. Had somebody do a diagnostic with a Mitchell one program they came to the conclusion that was the alternator. I replaced the battery about six months ago in the car. Will turn over now, but still has a few lights on the dash in my throttlebody position center and pedal codes are popping up on my diagnostic code reader

A family member hooked battery terminal up wrong and now power steering not working.

Car won’t start dashboard display ignition switch off and EPC battery light is on. Brand new battery.

Changed out battery and now windows, locking system, horn, windshield wipers and trunk won’t open. Yes I used a memory savor. 3 rd time switching out battery. I can’t seem to find the blown fuse.

Ac is not working and battery not charging automatically

Car has good battery, 12.6 vdc with car off. When turning the key to the start position I hear what sounds like a single relay in the dash click. Sounds like its coming from the relay panel left of steering wheel. The 2007 jetta 2.5 SE is my wifes car & has seen better days. She drove the grandkids to school in the morning a week ago & went to leave a few hours later & no start. I've forgotten how to troubleshoot. Its been awhile. Update. My gauge not working.My battery is looking power due to the fan.My lights are dim,it's difficult to change to second gear. Sometimes my fan won't go on.

After I drive to my job or anywhere and I turn off my car for a few hours, it turn off after driving it for less then 30 minutes nothing stays on the only thing that show it the dead battery sign, but I have replace the battery and how the alternator tested nothing pops up the only thing that shows on a scanner is a starter lock activation - short circuit to ground 03587-007 but I have been searching what that means but nothing seems to pop put or there will be many ways to fix it but nothing seems to make sense.

2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS 2.0 no crank no start I put in a new starter I also replaced the positive cable wire that goes from the battery to the starter what else could I do to work everything else or any other issues out

My day time running lights keep coming on on their own. Mostly at night when the car has been sitting. It keeps killing my battery and then I have to jump it.

My right turn signal both front and back will not turn off. Because of this my right headlight isn't as bright or isn't on at sll. Not to mention draining my battery.

New alternator after a week battery died car would not start

When I turned the key off about 30 seconds after pulling the key out of the ignition the dash lights click back on and drains the battery. What could it possibly be?

The car was running just fine, over the winter I had to remove the battery because it died due to the cold so I took it inside and put it on a trickle charger when I put the battery back in the car it cranks but won't turn over seems like maybe the emergency theft system not too sure anyone know what this is and can help it's highly appreciated thank you
