I have more of a question. If keyfob is lost. And I happen to be inside vehicle. With no power and no keyfob. Are my auto lock/ unlocks inside suppose to work ? Or should keyfob be close by.

2012 ford f150 lariat 5.0l is having issues with doors unlocking and locking with key fobs. After I manually unlock with key from the door, it works until I walk 8ft or more away from the vehicle. I have three keys to my truck and im getting the same result for all three keys.It will not unlock or lock from a distance. I have to be right beside the truck to try to make it somewhat work.

The driver's door lock doesn't work, but the passenger-side door lock does. The driver's door will unlock with the remote or the door keypad, but not with the switch, and it won't unlock the other doors. In doing some more testing with the wire hardness, I have now lost power to the front windrows, both the driver's side and the passenger's side

Found a wire under the dash and the driver's side floor going to side kick panel broken
Yes, it was just the driver's door lock, but the remote would work, and the door panel on the outside worked; just the switch in the door, passenger side, worked.

Replaced main driver side switch and still the same issue!
Working on that same issue. I could not find a problem. I pulled my drivers door apart and looked at all the wiring and no fix

My rear left passenger door will not lock/unlock when the door is closed. It will lock/unlock when the door is open. I replaced the actuator already and this problem is still occurring. No other doors have this problem.

I put a new actuator and still won't work with lock button or key fob
Have you checked the switch on the door frame? (The little springloaded button that activates the lights when the door opens)
Same here. I have a 2002 f250. All doors work fine. Rear pass doesn’t. Checked all wires. They are good. But didn’t change the actuator

Wiring harness on rear doors are known for breaking wires in the harness in the bend of the door when opening and closing. You can get replacements on Amazon, just do the research to make sure your getting the correct harness. Replacement is easy, several videos online that show you how to do it and what tools are needed.

Ac fuse blowing, unplug high side pressure switch fuse doesn’t blow, unplug the ac plug also and fuse blows again. Some how someone is gaining access to my door locks and. Not setting off alarm , allowing them to open my hood and do things to my electrical eg. Grounding out my system causing a short blowing fuses cruise stopped abs light came on now engine has misfire but no engine light. I just replaced and programmed the computer now a lot of things aren’t working right

I had suspected that my truck had been being taken and used for illicit activity... and I still can’t figure out why the theft light blinks with no key in the ignition and I use the remote to lock it

Fobs need either new batteries or to be reprogrammed according to the procedure in the manual.
