01617 code does anyone know what this means?

My car keeps getting a coil light coming on an going into limp mode while I'm on the motorway I keep getting a 01617 code coming up been told that the wiring mite be messed up any ideas?

Very late to this but for me the problem ended up being a blocked DPF filter.

Engine misfires

Volkswagen Passat 2017 Sedan,1.8tsi 220000 miles

I am facing misfires when engine is cold and when it is warmed up everything works fine , replaced coils and plugs but no use , can't able to detect the exact problem

Engine Sputter during acceleration even in idle

Volkswagen Passat 2015 1.8 Liter Engine, 4 cylinder 141256 miles

I changed the PCV valve and runs 60% better. Still some engine sputtering during acceleration and idle, but better than before. Was thinking of changing the ignition coils
