Ac and heating issue SolvedSolved

Jeep Wrangler 2014 Rubicon 84000 miles
Hi All, Forgive me if this is the incorrect place. Not to long ago, I got the blinking defroster light and the B1030-12 code along with a slew of other codes related to the A/C. So I opened the dash and It looked like I had a rodent dine on my A/C Heat Control Panel harness. Before someone asks, I do have electrical education/training. It was some years ago but I can get myself around quite well with automotive systems. I have the diagram of the A/C electrical system and plumbing I hopped on the WF forum and went through alot of A/C posts trying to figure this thing out. I went and got… Read complete

There are 2 wires that are almost identical in color/strip that were crossed. Once uncrossed it worked perfectly

I have a problem with the heater not work. But the Ac works and the blower works. So what can I do to fix the problem or do you have any idea what's going on

Sounds like your heater core is bad and needs replacement

Same problem for me. Mine blows warm air for about 5 seconds then stops. Heater core replaced. Problem not fixed.

There could be a number of reasons why the air conditioning system is not functioning properly, and it will be necessary to diagnose the issue to determine the cause.
Here are a few things you can try:

Check the fuse for the air conditioning system. The fuse for the air conditioning system is typically located in the main fuse box under the hood. Check the fuse to see if it is blown and replace it if necessary.
Check the compressor. The compressor is responsible for pumping refrigerant through the air conditioning system. If the compressor is not functioning properly, it could prevent the air conditioning system from turning on.
Check the refrigerant level. If the refrigerant level is low, it could prevent the air conditioning system from turning on.
Check the air conditioning controls. Make sure that the air conditioning controls are functioning properly and that there are no problems with the buttons or switches.

AC feels like it's on

Jeep Wrangler 2021  28597 miles
When I 1st start my car, the air feels like it's coming from the AC , even though the AC is not on. But, if I flick the AC on and off, it will start to feel like the outside air again. It's this a real problem, or just a Jeep thing?

Clean your Radiator first and also check thermostat + AC Compressor joint hose

Auto stop start jl sport

Jeep Wrangler 2021 2.0 70000 miles
No ac or heat on and message says starts top not ready. But no reason why. Seemed to be working fine and just stopped about 3 months ago. Battry remains at 13.9-14.1 v per gauge. Is there a particular fuse that can be checked since I dont seem to have any other issues.

You have 2 batteries, the one that reads 13.9-14.1 on the dash is for starting and accessories. The Start Stop feature runs on a battery by itself. Find that battery it’s probably bad.

Temp control lights on knobs flicker

Jeep Wrangler 2013 Sport 98023 miles
When I first start my Wrangler sometimes the 3 lights in the center temperature control knobs flicker then mostly stay off. I can never tell if the AC button and inside/outside vent control door is on/off or open/closes. I can actually hear the door open and close and the compressor click on/off but the light indicator doesn't stay lit. Is this an electrical short or do I need to just replace the panel of controls?
