LED headlights & running lights stopped working

Jeep Wrangler 2008 Wrangler Sahara VIN 1J4GA54158L507556 6 CYl 3.8L Type JK 45000 miles
Replaced OEM headlights with LED lamps + canbus (to avoid flickering) - first the front left (driver) headlamp went out but plugging the actual lamp into the right side it worked - re-made connections, worked for a while, now both headlamps and running lights at front are out; replaced fuses - didn't help. Not sure that there isn't a bad headlamp relay.

Update: a conversation with the Xprite headlight manufacturer led to a recommendation to replace the lights and wiring - in process. I'll post an update here.
