I'm just wondering if you can help. I've had to take my Holden Cruze in as it wouldn't come out of first gear. They have told me it's going to cost $1100 as it's the cable that goes from the gearbox to the gears. My problem is also I don't understand why. It's under 60,000k. Has there been issues with the cruzes. Holdens trying to tell me I've done it.

I bought a Holden cruze turbo diesel 2012 6 speed manual transmission (same engine as Chevrolet cruze).
My car shakes back and forth between 1500-2000RPM, sometimes late response or no power when I accelerate, or accelerates alone when I use the accelerator. Code 84, DPF, engine lights flashing

Have you ever encountered these problems?

It doesn't want to go into gear we just bought it and it's a month old not even and now we can't get key out and we tried the the release on the side of shifter but nothing we. We got it towed to the place were we are staying how ever now we can turn it off but still kills the battery and ant change gears or remove the key

Gearbox locked on 4th gear what could be the problem

I have a Chevrolet Cruze and I would like to share all its problems: the calipers are distorted which is a really dangerous problem if you do not notice it on time, the automatic transmission locks in 3rd or 5th gears and even the engine stalls when driving.

I have a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze 1.4. The steering wheel has about 5–6 degrees of free play before the wheels respond. The steering feels loose, especially after driving over speed bumps or rough roads. The steering wheel moves left and right slightly without changing the vehicle's direction. The steering became stiffer after a repair, but the play is still there. The suspension components have been checked, and the ball joints are OK. The steering rack was repaired and a part inside the gearbox was replaced, but the problem still remains. What could be causing this?

Rough idle at idle, but fine when driving; acceleration feels sluggish; suction when removing the dipstick; slight fuel smell. My theory is either PCV, spark plugs, or coil packs. I've ordered an OBD scanner, but want an opinion.
There's also no check engine light yet

These warning lights came on steering control, power steering, traction control stabilizer and the shifting indicator does not display. It will not shift gears once I start driving and when I do shift from gear to gear it jerks really hard. I notice the bushing on shift cable was broke. So we put a rubber bushing in to see if that would work. And it started working but once we put the rite bushing on it stopped working and now matter what we try it will not work. Disconnected the tcm and the ground tested hot. Look over the ground wire and it's not showing any damage to it. All fuses are good also.

The car hasitate to eccelrate and jeccking on low gears

A yellow warning light has appeared on the dashboard of my car with a wrench. I'm trying to turn it off but to no avail. I've tried disconnecting the battery and pressing the accelerator pedal as shown in YouTube but to no avail. I'm running an OBD scan but no error code appears. I don't have an oil gauge when I open the menu on the turn signal knob.

I changed the gear box on my cruze. Its an aromatic ever since when i start my car and drive it it runs normally but it changes gear on 2000 rpm early it used to change on 1500 rpm or under 2000 rpm and when my car runs up to temperature it suddenly starts to change gears roughly then drops gears on its own without any acceleration and after sometime it moves very slowly like 10 to 30 kmph even if a floor accelerate and lasty car stops in drive mode and won’t move for 10 to 15 mins any information?

I have a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze 1.8 (VIN: 1G1PA5SH9E7449244) with automatic transmission. The original engine was replaced with an F18D4 engine, but the ECU is still the original LUW type. Problem: The engine has unstable idle, especially in Drive (D) at low throttle. RPM fluctuates and there is slight vibration. my car is all good i have it scanned but there is only code 89 on mid what is that service center does'nt know about that pls tell and where is o2 sensor and my gears are aslo hard to shift

while i was driving i put it on gear 1 now its stuck on gear1 it doesn't change gears anymore

After driving 2000 miles on holidays, I felt a hit in the gearbox and inmediately the Checking indicator turned on. In the agency they told me that there were some computer codes that had not been erased on the last car maintainance. After that, a new failure appeared: the gearbox remained in its security position in 4th gear, no other could be put and the sequential transmission remained desactivated. I was then told that the automatic transmission's valves body needed to be replaced. Luckily, a mechanic told me it had to do with the oil never being changed by Chevrolet's agencies. He then changed the vehicle's oil and repaired the valves and now the gears are working perfectly. Hope it helps someone!
