Car is stalling and then shuts off, seems likes its gasping for gas check engine light just turned on it aslos says stabili track ans traction control, thehen i took the gas cap off shows signs of water what is the problem
Hi I was hoping that you ended up finding out the problem with the stalling an engine light etc only way it runs is with axelaration when starting sometimes doesn't
Please look this up. I also have a 2016 chevy cruze and have been fighting to get something done due to this same issue. Please call the GM corporate offices and complain as well file with the NHTSA and BBB if need be. They have blown me off and don't care to help. Below is the PIP bulletin for this. https://gm.oemdtc.com/7914/pip5507b-st…
I have a 2011 cruze deisel i had to replace 2 computers with in a year lucky still un warrenty then the engine harness had to replace then as they fixing that the computer wasnt capactable so ince again anothwr computer now engine light is on im selling this headache as holden charges you 150$ to check out wots wrong. Not a good car to buy.
I have a Chevrolet Cruze and I would like to share all its problems: the calipers are distorted which is a really dangerous problem if you do not notice it on time, the automatic transmission locks in 3rd or 5th gears and even the engine stalls when driving.
When starting the engine in cold conditions, it vibrates and sometimes stalls. Occasionally, steam comes from the turbo area, which smells like antifreeze. After the engine warms up, it runs smoothly, and no steam appears.
Thank you in advance

I guess it has something to do with the start/stop system cuz when I'm stopped at a red light and I go to push the gas so when it goes to turn on it stalls out so I've been driving in the L gear L6 to be exact... because I find out that's like kind of like a manual it doesn't use the start/stop system so I don't have to sit there at a red light with cars behind me trying to turn my car back on so I can go instead of blocking everyone I hate this car
My car's had really bad gas mileage in it started stalling in the other day it finally went lost all power and all the lights came on on the dash but they're all off now could you tell me what might be wrong
The issue you're describing with your 2011 Chevrolet Cruze could potentially be caused by a faulty oxygen (O2) sensor or camshaft sensor. The O2 sensor is responsible for monitoring the amount of unburned oxygen in the exhaust and adjusting the air-fuel mixture accordingly. If the O2 sensor is not functioning properly, it can cause a decrease in fuel efficiency and potentially result in the car stalling. Similarly, the camshaft sensor provides information about the position of the camshaft to the engine control module, and if this information is not accurate, it can result in a loss of power and stalling.
To determine the root cause of the issue, I would recommend having the vehicle scanned using a diagnostic code reader. This will retrieve any stored trouble codes in the engine control module, which will provide further information about what may be causing the problem.
When driving and I suddenly stop accelerating, a "clack" noise starts to be heard coming from the engine. When braking, the noise disappears. I personally believe it has something to do with the gearbox or the clutch, as when I press it the noise does not go away. Hope someone can give me a hand. Thanks.
I bought a Holden cruze turbo diesel 2012 6 speed manual transmission (same engine as Chevrolet cruze).
My car shakes back and forth between 1500-2000RPM, sometimes late response or no power when I accelerate, or accelerates alone when I use the accelerator. Code 84, DPF, engine lights flashing
After cleaning the bodywork and car engine and driving for 2 km, the car suddenly stalled. After many attempts of pressing the Start button, it finally did. It then remained off for an hour or so and, when I tried to start the engine again, it did not want to. It was only after the fifth time that it started, worked for no more than 3 km and stalled. Since then it has never started again. I was told the computer is burnt. Has someone got the electrical diagram of the ECM module?
The same happened to me and, after buying a new computer, it worked properly for several months. However, some codes are now starting to appear and no one knows why.
I have also replaced my computer and it's been 8 months since that and I have not yet had any inconveniences. You need to make sure that the computer they give to you is a new one.

Hi! I have a Chevrolet Cruze J305 Diesel-2013. The car doesn't start at cold weather. I went to a service and they checked the spark plugs and it seem to be fine. They changed the car relay, the temperature sensor, the battery, water pump, the diesel filtre. The problem is still there. Is there anyone who had this problem? What can I do? Thanks.
If it's a diesel and they charged you to change the spark plugs then you need to find another shop to go to and I would also get a lawyer. Diesels do not have spark plugs. They have glow plugs. If your glow plugs are bad then that's why your car will not start in cold weather. Glow plugs preheat the cylinders so the combustion process is easier. It will still run with bad glow plugs. It will only be harder to start if bad.
One day it said “service stabilitrak” while I was driving then it dies on me. Now it will crank but won’t start. Had 3 mechanics check it out and apparently they can’t figure out the problem.
It just died one day then nothing it drains the batteries. I changed the fuse box and i get nothing before hand not one sound just lights not after changing the fuse box it only cranks no start. Also there's a squeaky sound while the engine cranks could it be a cam sensor or BCM or a timing issue? I need hell getting it to start.
Change oil pan gasket, Put new oil Filter In it and
A peace of rubber got stuck where the filter slides over the shaft.started the car and alot of clincking started.oil presure light came on ,but when given gas it stopped clinking and oil presure light goes off. Next morning started up and ran for a little bit then died. Have not been able to get it started again. Cranks no start. I did not find the rubber piece
Till that morning
My car doesn't want to start it is cranking but not picking up due keylock and code 67, no power on the injectors but fuel is coming to engine, my is a diesel. It s button start keyless.
