When turning the air conditioning on, the engine goes crazy: speed suddenly drops to 550 rpm, and then raise to normal, 750 rpm. I have already checked if it has code OBD2 and it indicates that there are no code errors.The idle speed has been cleaned and the PCV valve checked and replaced. I have noticed that sometimes this failure appears even without the air conditioning being turned on, but it is less noticeable. On the negative battery terminal there is a block with five wires attached to it. I think these wires serve as a ground for the fuel pump, ECU, and speedometer. Well one of the wires has twelve volts witch in turn is blowing fuses. They are the radio, heater, turn signals, speedometer, horn and rpm gage. I've had the alternator rebuilt and replaced the constant relay module. Dang car is still blowing fuses. Does anyone have any input on this

Was this like it before...or after a service this happened...im suspecting...someone...has inadventually...connected a pos wire...too the negtive terminal of the battery by mistake...

If it's not the thermostat it is either a plugged heater line or your radiator needs flushed.
Another issue is the two fan relay k1 and K2 plus the L3 fuse is not on the fuse box I'm not sure if it was removed. Or is it normal on the jeep grand Cherokee 2013?
You need to make sure your putting it in the correct way just because you put it in the same way it came out don't mean it's right it could have been put in wrong before
Check right way fitted n, and not upside down...flush the main radiator...also...and the engine block and heater system...whislt ya at it...you can buy rad flush...liquids you put in the rad system then run the enigne...
But sometimes the block and rad can get quite heavy blocked...this reqiures more extensive time consuming work too clear...

Does the engine...dash instument gauge...show...working? does it show the needle at half way?
Is your car a old car?...oh it s 1 1999...it will have a modern...electric fan on then...
Check for air trapped at the fan on off switch, check the fan conection for pistive volts...with engine gauge at just over half way...usally when the radiator cooling fan shuld cut in/start working...
Shuld see voltage...check the fuse box...rad fan fuse...

You probaly have a radio...that requires a code...too be put into it...via the facia of the radio...numbers...modern factory radios for you.

I have a 91' escort. Only runs about 70 to 80 miles then dies. Have replaced battery and alternator. It only draws 12.2 when at idle. But with lights and radio falls to 11.4. Is there an external regulator? If so where is it?

With no loads...engine running...batt voltage shuld be 12.5 too 13 volts ish...
With loads on...i. E Lights interiour fan...indicatorts...the volts shuld rise too 14 too 14.5 volts...this shows the alternator is doing its job right.

No a car pf 91 vintage...the regulator and rectifer...are all on the the altenator...you can purchase...regulator recitfer packs...for all alternators...which you can fit yourself...if you are into that kind of work...(bit of a time consuming arse too do but...is what it is end of the day).

Jump my escort every time

I don't know what's goin on with the car. I connect a battery tester and it says it's ok, the alternator tester also says good. But I have to jump my car every time I go to start it. I can't leave anything on like radio or dome light or heater or ac or it will shut off while just sitting in park. The fuses are fine, checked those too. Any ideas?
