Engine Control Unit. According to the values shown by different sensors, it estimates certain parameters such as the amount of air and fuel that need to be supplied, the amount of time needed to start the car, the pressure of the turbocharger, and any other key aspects to maximize its performance and efficiency with the least amount of contamination possible.

you need to do a 30 minute relearn on it. try to start it and when it cuts back out leave your key on and let it sit for 10 mins exactly keep a timer and do this 3 times in 10 min intervals and after the 3rd time it should start hook your battery up to a charger and be sure it doesnt die during this procedure. if it doesnt start keep doing the test of 10 min intervals 3 times until the system has relearned the computer
Service engine came on. Then instrument panel displays power lose. I replaced all of the sensors on my engine. Replaced ecu, throttle body control module and the connector, fuel injector all 8 , 8 spark plugs, and plug wires, fixed electrical short in the wires2 inches from BCM. It turn over but does not start. Im going to replace the fuel pump next. Any ideas I had the ecu programmed by a dealership. Cost 150 dollars. Crank no start. Dealership said replaced the Bcm. I did also reset the bcm to my truck. Security light went off also.

I obtained a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 but the pcm got stolen so I put in another one from a chvy van with the same engine, although the engine starts, the fans dont turn on because the van had only one fan and the truck has two small fans. We tried to program the PCM but they told us it wouldnt go through. Could there be another reason as to why the fans dont turn on?
Starter solenoid clicks but will not pull starter in. Have changed starter, no help. Noticed 30 amp Stud 2 fuse blown. Accessories, trailer lights. Does that have anything at all to do with the start system. Also thinking it could have a problem with grounding. Can't read a ground on the black and yellow PCM ground wire. Any suggestions?
