Do you have a owners manual it should tell you in there. If not a auto parts store should be able to tell you.

Only the driver's side low beam headlight is out.

Toyota 4Runner 2017 Limited  165000 miles
Driver's side low beam is out. I replaced the bulb and it still doesn't work. Thought it might be a relay issue but that would mean all headlight mean all headlights would be out.
The vehicle battery is located directly behind the driver's side headlight assembly. Do i need a new battery? How do I resolve this issue?

I am having the same problem but my bulb was bad so replaced that and now the fuse keeps blowing. Checked the wiring harness and it appears good. Any advice?

The battery was swapped out about 3 years ago, the wiring harness, fuse, etc are in good shape too. I'm at a loss to how to fix?

I solved my issue , dead won’t start. I found a small button under a tiny door on top of the shiifter console a few inches to the left and popped open and pushed my pinky in it and the entire power to the vehicle reset and all came up working

I’m not at all a mechanic just a retired telecom technicial engineer so finding that button on accident was just what o needed

Did anyone know of this button on top of the shifter
Console that was a reset button in it that corrected this trouble

No sound when turning ignition, electrical

Toyota 4Runner 1998 Automatic, Limited, V6 233000 miles
I was hooking up an old speaker/subwoofer system that I had previously disconnected. It was creating issues and I was having to change out my alternator every few years. I must have connected the amplifier to the battery incorrectly, because the fuses on the amplifier blew. I replaced them and attempted to start my car again. This time, the fuses on the amplifier did not blow. But no my car makes no sounds when turning the ignition. No clicking, no cranking, nothing. My dome light, headlights, radio, alarm, dash lights, and power windows all work. But there is 0 ignition activity when… Read complete

Change either your 60amp or 120amp fuse, i think i changed both and all went back to normal. I had exact problem as well. Its not hard but definitely will test your patience. Save you alot of time if you dont already know, the fuses are connected by being bolted into fuse box at very bottom. Remove outter casing to get to. Its a pain but doable, i beleive it requires a 6 or 8mm socket.

Dashboard Accessory Switch Indicator Wire

Toyota 4Runner 2024 TRD Off Road Premium 40000 miles
Looking for the best location to access the dashboard instrument and accessory light wire. This is the wire that lights up the blue LEDs on the accessory switches. I believe it is yellow in color. I can access a yellow wire on an existing accessory switch harness, but the harnesses do not have much slack, and the wires are only small 26 gauge (approx. ) wires. Looking for this to light up additional switches. (Note this is not a power wire and is only for instrument/switch indicator lights. ) Is it in fact a yellow wire? Would the best place to access this wire be at the relay output - assumin… Read complete
