When I start my car, I sometimes hear a sloshing liquid sound for a few seconds. It seems to come from the left front area of the car. What could it be?

Hello, I have a starting issue. I have a Sonata 2017, 2.4 GDI, automatic gearbox and automatic button start stop. At the morning, and more specially when it's colder, the car doesn't want to start immédiately. Battery has been changed, and oil also because it was time. The problem is still there. I'm thinking about the starter but not sure.

I solved it even though I still don't what was the issue. We unmounted the starter and test it with some tools. It was pretty good, so we remounted it thinking it is not the issue. Then after remount, all is ok and it starts right away, cold or not.

I drove my car to get coffee at 6 am and then back home. Got in it at 11am and it hasn't started ever since. Use to make a clock noise in the left close to the fuse box but doesn't do that anymore. Replaced ignition and starter, checked fuses with no luck. Any suggestions?

Hello I've had the same problem and fixed it after sitting and wondering what it could be. I am a diy guy and love to know. Not knowing kills me anyways I came across a video that said how to start a car that won't start. Take and find the starter relay in the fuse box under hood and pull it out. Then put the key in the ignition turn on, go back to where the relay was pulled out and get a piece of wire about 3-4 inches long expose wire on bothe sides and twist so it's neat then place one end of wire in one terminal where relay was and the other end opposite it. The car should start if not then try the other two terminals and it should start. If it does then you know there is a electrical problem somewhere between the ignition switch and the starter. This seems to be a common problem with these cars... Hopefully that helped someone I know it did for me and saved me a lot of money. Further more from my experience with cars if this does not work and u have already bought a starter and ignition try getting new crankshaft position sensors as these will also prevent the car from starting in the event they are faulty.

My radio would stop working for months. Had power but stations would not come in. I upgraded the 15 fuse to a 20 and it fixed it

Like knocking sound but it’s not it always sound in the engine since the oil pump fail and it affect the engine i fixed it but the sound doesn’t I’ve change the camshaft also just a lot but difference but still the same

Same here before my car died… now I am still trying to figure out what to do. Fuse? Starter? Engine spark plugs? I’m going to figure it out.

Alarm that says stop car turn off engine. Once restarted, acts as if nothing is wrong, steering column electricals quit working

For almost 10 months the car made a very noticable knock in the engine compartment it still seemed to drive normal except for the knocking. We had people say it was a few different things it sounded like it was the crankshaft pulley, the knocking was always the same tempo if it was accelerating or at idle until last week the knock became eradic sometimes would go away and then come back even harder then it got really loud vehicle lost compression or power wouldn't accelerate and then died out and when tried to restart it really struggled to even turn over but not line a dead battery.

Ive had my car right at a year. One day I accidentally dropped off n a ditch and hit something under there. After that it’s been slowly shaking uncontrollably.
