FU
Climate control fan needs to be replaced inside the dash. Part costs about $60-$70 dollars but even though is only 3 screws to change it is a lot of work to get to. Check out videos on youtube.

With that many miles you need to look into the thermostat, water pump, and cooling fans. Possibly head gasket too

So, the car overheats. I changed the thermostat because I realised the old one was stuck and did not work properly. The overheating stopped happening, but it started again after some days. The coolant temperature sensor, when pulled off as an emergency measure during overheating, sometimes does not activate the fan immediately. I suspect an issue with the wiring or the fuse, but I'm not certain. The engine is an LPI engine, 2.0
