Honda Accord 1993 Sedan 2.2l 150000 miles
My husband and I have spent the last two weeks trying to figure out why our 2000 Honda Accord EX 3.0 V6 Sedan stopped running and we have been unsuccessful in our efforts. The car began hesitating and losing power when accelerating or going uphill. We thought it was a fuel filter problem, but we learned that the 2000 Accord sedan doesn't have a fuel filter, in the traditional sense; apparently it is built into the fuel pump and is not a serviceable or replaceable part. Mine was like that until I changed the fuel injectors. Around the 270k mile mark. And the MAP sensor. Those 2 things got me outta the woods misfiring over 3krpm. The old injectors looked and tested fine, but were nonetheless the issue. When i got the new ones in? Bingo. Note: i also had new sparks and coils first, and a clean throttle body, intake hose, and manifold. These were pretty dirty.

Radio started glitching then car wouldnt start

My dad was sitting in my car while I ran into the store. He was there for no more than 5 minutes. He said my radio started acting strange and stuttering(?) My car was off but the key was in the accessory position. When i got into the car and turned the key the it clicked like the battery was drained and it wouldn't start. (No battery light) I can't imagine the battery was drained that quickly. I just replaced the alternator (3 times because of a leaking "pcv" gasket I think its called. It was leaking oil onto the alternator. I replaced the gaskets and its sealed up good with no leaks at all) A… Read complete
