Hard to start Mrs surges vibrates the motor runs rough put new fuel injectors in it and new glow plugs

My truck will just be driving down the road and it'll die I'll pull it to the side of road and try to start it and it will not start with the ignition but it will start with the bypass wire that's under the hood are it won't start but it'll still crank with a bypass wire under the hood why is that and my injectors won't kick on or nothing
