Noise when I brake and stop.

Hello just got the car brand new and noticed after 2 weeks on a 3000km on the clock everytime i take off or reverse it makes a metal noise on the very first step on the brakes. I went to a dealer and said it is normal as the brake caliper was designed as it moves with the motion of the car. Is that really happening to a brand new car?
