I changed the battery In the fob and everything works now. Doesn't make any sense to me, but I'm so happy to be over this delima..

Everything is working now. Problem resolved. Who would've thought it was the fob. Changed battery in fob and Everything is working now. Thanks for trying to help me.

Engine not turning Solved

Jeep Wrangler 2004 TJ V6 4.0L 200000 miles

Went to start my jeep, engine did not turn over at all, only sound it made was a few rapid clicks. Check engine light has come on, and have been dealing with random RPM surges when idling and driving. Still did not start when being jumped, went to open the door, the alarm system that came with the vehicle (stopped working years ago I thought) started going off. The battery was disconnected, when reconnected the alarm was still engaged while using the disarm button on the key fob. I am thinking this is a bad starter that needs to be replaced, along with possibly the alternator.

Replaced the starter and everything runs like it is supposed to, better even!!

Stereo not working after short.

Hi,
I have went to change a stereo, after removing the current one, i noticed a loose red wire. Fitted new stereo, tested and all was good. Went to reassemble and the red wire shorted.
Now the new stereo doesn’t work, i fitted the old one again, that didnt work. I have checked the fuses all are ok. Does anyone have any ideas

Look for battery not the main one there is another battery (like we used in NBN box at our homes )you can find under the fues box or next to left side panel some models are different location for A s/s.

Oil light comes on when started warm but clears on restart

Jeep Wrangler 2009 JK Wrangler V6 170571 miles

During start up the oil light doesn't clear initially but will clear on restart. Have replaced oil sending unit and checked actual oil pressure at pump was 63# when cold 40 when operating at temperature. Thinking maybe computer issue but not sure.
New motor and transmission at 168,000 miles

Dashboard of jeep wrangler 4dr 2016 beeps out of the blue with no lights and then flickers; it will then beep and several dashboard lights flicker off and on...then battery light comes on
