My 2011 ford edge had a misfire. I was told it was a computer. (by the dealer). They replaced it. The truck started and the misfire went away. As i was driving home, the truck shut off. I towed it back to the dealer and they said the computer when bad. After replacing it a second time, the truck did the same thing (i drove it home and now it wont start or crank). Any ideas.

The dealer programmed it wrong. Took it to a different dealer and it worked. They said the other dealer was programming it wrong. So far so good.

Mine constantly shows 15.1 to 15.4. 3rd battery in 4 years. 2021 edge sel.
In a 12-volt system that is very high, and you can be cooking your batteries. If you are unable to adjust the alternator to a proper charging level, then I suggest getting batteries that you can add distilled water to. This way you can keep the batteries watered and they last longer.
Your proper fix is to adjust or replace that alternator, you can go to most auto parts stores, and they should have testers for your alternator to ensure you are doing the right thing.

I've taken it to the dealer and spoken to the service writers several times about this. They say it's normal, but I'm on my third battery in 4 years. They're paying for them though because I have extended warranty. Their dime!
That is disappointing, and dealers wonder why no one trust them.

Throttle body errors

I recently replaced the VVT solenoid and valve cover gaskets, new orings for ignition coils but now the SUV refused to start which I am suspecting that the computer is preventing the engine to start due to potential engine runaway. I have plugged in the OBD Scanner and it showed double errors of p2104, p0122, p0223, p2110 which led me to the throttle body issues. So I am wondering if I replaced the throttle body, would it fix the errors or do I have to do something else as well?

The battery got drained due to a phone charging with key on overnight. Since the the Alternator has been a mess... ive charged my battery up a couple times,and only started it in my driveway. I've checked fuses and connections...and battery. Still no good. Im wonder if it is the pcm,voltage regulator, or bad ground.

I was driving calmly uphill and it started to shift into neutral, in short, the gearbox from first gear doesn't go to second or third, I changed the software. I looked at the oil and I can't find any errors on the computer either. Please tell me what could be the problem, is there a fuse somewhere responsible for this.

Quick background -- My car stranded me on the side of the road twice in April/May of 2025. It would not move. The car would run, but would not drive forward (or in reverse). When I would shift the car to drive it would do nothing. I could press the accelerator but it wouldn't even rev. When I would turn the shift knob to park, the car would stall.
