Dashboard looses power. Non of the guages or lights work but the car continues running normally with no problems. Heater also fails to light up but this also blows air as normal. Indicators, radio, hazard lights, side and headlights all still work normally, cruise control is not effected milage and trip meter records milage as is shown when power comes back on which may be within seconds or could be minutes or not until next time you start the car.
Hi, I own a Ford Mondeo Ghia and it happened to me that it suddenly stalled and did not want to start working again. The car was towed to a mechanic, the fuel filter was replaced and the engine started. Some days later, the vehicle started stalling when driving, either at 10 or at 75 mph. It now does it around 3-4 times a day and the orange light indicator turns on. One mechanic told me it is a problem with the fuel pressure, which is quite expensive to solve, but another one told me the failure might be caused by another thing. I really do not know what to do. Has this ever happened to anyone before?
The crankshaft sensor has been replaced, the belt was a bit stretched but the car continued failing. I have now been told that the problem might be in the electronic control unit.
I have a Ford Mondeo saloon diesel that has been parked for a long time, almost 7 years. Recently I tried to start my car but it did not want to start and the car engine and dashboard lights did not turn on. What is the real cause, can you please help and explain to me what I should do. Even though the battery has been replaced and the engine oil has been serviced before I started my car.
Hi, anse. Regarding the tire monitor fault, most probably the monitor that goes in each of the tires is damaged and needs to be replaced. In my case, I needed to change more than one. And as regards damaged ACC, it is a more serious problem because it is the Adaptative Cruise Control that is failing and it might be caused by the radar on the front grille, in front of the air conditioning dissipator, or by the module that controls that function. In both cases, the repair is quite expensive. Hope it helps you find a solution.
(2016 Ford Mondeo TD Titanium. ) When I accelerate joining the Freeway to reach 100kms/hr, the spanner pop up and goes into limp mode. I need to pull up on the emergency strip. Turn off the engine. And it goes away. The spanner icon used to light up with any increase of speed whilst driving in the 80km/hr to 100km/hr speed window. But now only when I'm accelerating from 0 - 100km/hr with a hard acceleration. It doesn't do this if I go up in speed at a gentle, slower climb. I had it looked at and the mechanic found a hole in the turbo hose. He said that that was thd cause. So that was replaced but like I said. It's still happening. Any suggestions on why or how to fix this would be very helpful and appreciated. Thanks.

When I connect the diagnostic tool, it cannot find the car's information automatically until I enter it manually. In addition, I have a problem with the CAN bus connection to the power steering, ABS, and the odometer. Often the engine does not start until I clear the errors. The ABS works without problems, the power steering also works, and the odometer works. What do you think the problem is and how can it be solved?
Při jízdě jsem zařadil a něco se stalo od té doby my jde řazení na prd. Zpátečku tam musím dát než nastaruju jinak jde přes zuby. A apsolutně nevím co stím dělat
The car has been working fine until i did a cold start that resulted in dead battery with jump start, now i get a warning light and it says "engine faliure" on the dash after i drive a short distance, but when i plug in the diagnmostic tool the warning is for the converter? flush gearbox or is something else wrong?
Feels like a missfire and going into limpmode, the picture is the warning light on the dash

the car stops abruptly when going down a slope or at higher power and the orange light starts flashing, once I cut the power and turn the car back on as if nothing happened
