Won't start after long distance drive got spark let set for about a hour then it started don't know how to fix it can you help it dose have a new fuel pump in it

It has been running well. Started up fine this morning. Got to my appointment. Came back out to leave and truck would not turn on. It was as if the battery was dead. When the AAA mechanic checked the battery it was fine. But the dash lights would not come no when the key was turned. Then they did but there was no effert to start. The engine might click but nothing else. The dome lights were bright and working. It was putting out a full voltage the mechanic said. But again the dash lights would not come on. But then they did again.

After charging or jump starting the truck it will run. But after sitting the battery drains out again. The Stanley battery box shows the alternator is good. I tapped the starter,checked ground to the starter and block. I also checked fuses and the starter fuse does click and traded it out but still no start.

It won't start. It turns over and acts like it's going to start but don't. I thought it was a problem with the security system but I've done all the bypass tricks that normally work but it won't work. I've changed all the spark plugs and fuses and the battery. Also changed the fuel pump. I've checked all fluids plus the fuel pump and starter and both kick on just fine. The security light stays on flashing and the battery dies extremely fast. Anyone know what the issue could be and what I can do to fix it? My truck is the newer body.

My son says his truck won't start if he tries with the key, but when he hotwires it then it will start! What could be the possible problem?

Got home turned off went to start in morning and wouldn't crank no start the dash lights up they said battery was bad so went and got it replaced but still no crank no start

My car started making a strange noise, as if it were a template's bearing or damaged band, but we've removed this last one and nothing changed. We've also opened the car's distributor and replaced the oil pump which was softly damaged, but again nothing changed. We've checked it with a stethoscope and the noise seems to be coming from the bottom. There was no overheating nor an oil failure, any help to give me?

Put a new ignition switch,no security displays battery,starts for 3 secs. Then dies

I have a 2004 chevy silverado1500 5.3 will not turn over. When I turn key on it. Has power to every thing good fuel pressure,battery full charger good power connection everywhere but will not turn over I've jumped a wire from the starter solenoid to the hot post on the battery and it will turn over but still won't crank but when it warms back up above 30° it will start just fine i can't figure it out I drive it every day back and forth to work it really frustrating because it make me later for work during the winter

I was pulling trailer and my brake system light came on then it died. It will not start doesn't even try to start. Brake system light is on security light and battery light is on. With key off all my gages and running lights stay on

I put a coil new wire cap but it get spark get gas but don't. Strart

It will work good but start blowing hot air but the whole coil under the hood stays cold the top part and the bottom and the parts that runs to the air condition coil it don't need any freon and the fan works

My truck backfired and died while in motion, it restarted after a minute but i drive another mile and stopped and turned it off and now it will not start. It turns over strong, had fuel coming thru the fuel rail, i just replaced the ignition control module, the ignition coil, the distributer cap, the rotor, and the cam shaft position sensor after this happened a week ago and a week before that as well.
When i add fuel in the carb manually it still won't even fire. What could be the problem?

Battery is good, starter and alternator are good, but still wont start. Diagnostic codes P069E and P0463 are present

This truck runs like a top all summer and fall, in the winter no start, tow over, when we take it to the mechanic in a warm garage starts right up, drive it home, next day forget it. Have tested everything electronic nothing shows up on the diagnostic, have replaced everything known to man, ignition switch, plugs, complete overhaul kept up well and still nothing. Our other vehicle starts right up in the same cold temps...any suggestions? Showing Wife's e-mail below. New Battery. Never reset my oil life indicator after oil change. Truck completely shut off driving 65 on highway... Performed oil life reset mey on gas 3 times... Still wont start. Motor turns over acting like it not getting gas...

Dash lights up when you turn the key over but will not start. Have no dome lights and my tag lights are always on with and with out key

As I start my car when cold, the engine is too rough, there are no revolutions and it produces some small explosions. After 5 seconds or so, it suddenly accelerates and then comes back to idle speed. Which electronic feature might be causing this failure?

I change the ignition switch and now is only clicking but don't start

No power to the 40 amp fuse under the hood. And no power to the 20 amp fuse. For the starter. No start no crank

2006 Silverado 1500 4.3 v6 no crank, no start, no spark, no trigger signal between icm and ig coil, no pulse on signal wire from ckp to icm, odb2 coming on but wont connect

It started with the power steering leaking fluid and not turning so easy and it overheating and not holding water or coolant, fixed the power steering by adding a stop leak to it and it has been holding fluid since. But it has been 1 thing after another going wrong with the 02 silverado. Such as altenator (got that fixed), thermastat and thermastat houseing (changed out those parts) and replaced the radiator hose and overflow resevoir cap to see if that helped it quit over heating. It did temporarly and now it makes a horrible noise when I start it as if something was ran over by a lawn mower… Read complete

Security light is on. Vehicle will not crank. Also the Manuel shift indicator is on m1

One plug wire was removed and a few fuses truck stsrted ran rough
Also the sterring colum was busted and having to use starter box to start. Nowvit cranks but wont start

Change the distributor, now code P0016 is on

Changed ignition key and switch because of a short. Got new switch and key to turn everything on but on engine start. Starter has 12.8 volts but i can't it to turn the engine over. I can jump the starter and get the engine to crank but no start.
