Steering wheel gone really havy light came on ,been on holiday came back after 3weeks battery was flat start with jump lees and this problem was waiting for me. Call the AA they said car not picking the code

Hi have you tried doing the reset on your electric steering I believe you have to start the car drive for about 100 yards stop and whilst engine still running turn full lock and hold for 30 seconds then opposite lock do the same straightend up turn off the engine for a minute and that should reset it
