Volkswagen Jetta 2001 143 miles
Hope someone can help me. I own an automatic Jetta 2001 and it was working properly until suddenly, one day, it wouldn't start again. The engine runs but there is no way it can be started. The fuel pump's pressure has been checked, the coil replaced as there were no sparks in the spark plugs, but the problem is still there. All fuses are alright as well as the crankshaft's sensor. The acceleration body has been cleaned and the battery replaced. Can the stereo have something to do? Because it is indicating SAFE 0000, meaning that the car is blocked? Can someone please tell me what to do?

However, with the engine running it doesn’t work. It briefly shows a multiple image, then goes black, and gives a no signal message.
I’ve seen a gadget on AliExpress that claims to fix this problem. A transducer or something. The device filters out the hidden data transmitted in the wiring somehow. Apparently, this computer data is only present when the engine is running.
It looks like a typical canbus adapter for led headlights that wires in like a ballast resistor.
Could it be that simple?
Why is this not common knowledge if so?
I’m going to try it. Costs less than $5.
