My car makes a click-click sound when accelerating around 12mph, and when stopping around 8mph (stopping with brakes or by just letting car coast to a stop on its own. The sound seems to be coming from under the dashboard, towards the odb plug.

My car has been making this sound for some time, but it seems to be more often after replacing my battery after it died.

a loud sound like a belt is rubbing off of something when idling

I have googled it and pulled up that when you hit the horn, you can hear the clicking noise. I can hear it underneath the fuels box area under the steering wheel, but I went and purchased a relay and I don’t know if I put it in the wrong place or what I also checked the fuses And still not working

Car wouldn’t move when I put it in reverse, then it made a hard popping sound after that gears were really hard to shift 1st gear gave out completely. Barely made it home now car won’t move

Ok, it is our daughters VW Jetta 2009 77TDI. She first took it to a vw service centre (Australia) had a power loss and a clinking noise (not engaging) but does start. They put it on their system and came up with zero, then they update the computer and re did and it said, injectors. But zero for the starting. She brought injector cleaner and that fixed it, but still the same on starting. She had already replaced the battery (which turns out is the wrong battery 500 cca) She decided to sell the car, but a mechanic told her she need a new starter motor (this was during the road worthy inspection)… Read complete

Air-conditioning pump works when using power probe to the trigger wire to engage the clutch the AC or max AC will not turn on the air-conditioning pump. No noises pressure switch is good. AC lines are charged.

When the car is on the road, after a few minutes of travel the oil light starts to beep.

Car has good battery, 12.6 vdc with car off. When turning the key to the start position I hear what sounds like a single relay in the dash click. Sounds like its coming from the relay panel left of steering wheel. The 2007 jetta 2.5 SE is my wifes car & has seen better days. Turned the steering wheel to the right and heard a loud knock, removed the wheel and saw a piece of my shock absorber spring on the ground

Hello, I’m having trouble locating the AC relay in my 2013 Jetta TDI. Volkswagen doesn’t provide clear diagrams for the fuses and relays, which makes this difficult. I’ve replaced the AC compressor several times, including the latest one, which is working well. However, the compressor cycles on and off, similar to previous ones. I try about 10 times until it barely catches and it sounds like it's on one cylinder until it kicks in and then it idles fine. It runs very smoothly and does not stall. When I try again after I park, the same thing; I need to crank it about 6 or 8 times before it barely starts and again, it sound like a lack of fuel. It runs fine after it starts.

My car alarm does not sound, puts and removes doors, opens the trunk, but if I open a door it does not sound or the lights flash (the panic button sounds and the lights flash)

When I accelerate it takes a while for the car to take off , about 2200 revs when the speed increases. I have a straight though exhaust and the “boo” noise from the turbo is very little to none. Perhaps the turbo needs to be adjusted???
