I'm having the same issue. The diagnostic tool says it's some sensors that need to be replaced. We’ll see if that works.

Check engine light evap code keeps coming on

Hyundai Elantra 2013  150000 miles
The light keeps coming on. I've taken it to a couple of shops and the dealership. The light goes away for a bit but eventually comes back on. They've done a smoke test and can't find where the leak is.

Rough idle and shaking at stop after 60,000 miles

Hyundai Elantra 2018 Sedan 65000 miles
Hi everyone, I drive around 65,000 miles, and recently I’ve been noticing a rough idle issue. When the car is stopped (like at traffic lights), the engine sometimes vibrates more than usual, and the RPM slightly fluctuates. It’s not stalling, but the shaking is noticeable inside the cabin. While driving at normal speeds, everything feels fine. There’s no check engine light on, and fuel consumption seems normal. I’ve already checked basic things like fuel quality and haven’t made any recent repairs or changes. Could this be related to dirty throttle body, spark plugs, or engine mounts? Has… Read complete

A rough idle at around 60k miles is pretty commonly linked to things like worn spark plugs, dirty throttle body, or even engine mounts starting to go. Since it only happens at a stop and not while driving, I’d definitely start with a basic tune-up and cleaning before assuming anything major. Hope you get it sorted soon!

Good luck with the diagnosis! Definitely start with the neutral shift test for the mounts before buying parts. Once you're done tinkering with your real car, you can test your steering reflexes safely instead in https://driftbossfree. Lol Drift Boss.

Same issue here, when I put it in N it stops though. Also new spark plugs, trottlebody cleaned...recent service.
Im leaning toward the mounts will need to be replaced.

My car won't go backwards on a downhill road

Hyundai Elantra 2013 1.8 75000 miles
Hello everyone. My car won't go backwards on a downhill road. The car shakes and won't start. It's like the engine is choking. I washed the Throttle Bodies and it fixed it for a while. But it happens again and the Throttle Bodies is clean. There are no problems with the transmission and the check engine light doesn't come on. What could be causing this?

Starting issues

Hyundai Elantra 2013  118000 miles
After I drive my car around for about 30 to 45 minutes and then I stopped at the grocery store grab something and then I go back to get in my car and leave. I can’t get my car to start for at least 30 minutes and then it will start back up like there was never an issue. I don’t have a check engine light on my batteries new and I don’t have any other issues what could be causing this problem? Won’t let me upload a video. Thank you

Transmission do not work on first gear

Hyundai Elantra 2016 Transmission  166000 miles
The vehicle is a 2016 Hyundai Elantra with an automatic transmission. The transmission does not engage 1st gear properly. When starting from a complete stop in Drive (D), the engine RPM increases, but the vehicle barely moves or does not move at all, as if the transmission is slipping in 1st gear. As a temporary workaround, I can manually select 2nd gear using the manual shift mode, and the vehicle is able to move and be driven from there. If I leave the transmission in Drive and do not manually select 2nd gear, it eventually enters fail-safe (limp) mode, shifts directly into 4th gear, rema… Read complete
