My vehicles give me problems when starting it on's and off with low raves. It has a jumping problem when I let go of the clutch. When I change down it gives a kick back and jerks as if it is to shut down.

In 2011, I bought a Sonic 2012 who turned out to be absolutely faulty. The first problem was with the braking, which did not work or did whenever it wanted to. It was then found that some hoses that control the emptiness were damaged. Later, the ABS began making a terrible noise like the one of an old car. Finally, it started jerking because something in the transmission was failing, and even two times a little engine of the air conditioning gate broke down.

My vehicle loses power and stalls when driving. Even more, there is a constant jingle which cannot be repaired. Briefly, the performance leaves a lot to be desired.

I have a Sonic and these days I've been noticing it jerks when changing from 1st to 2nd gear. At the beginning, I thought it was my fault, that I was releasing the clutch brusquely. However, the Check Engine turned on and it started jerking every time I changed from 1st to 2nd gear. Has anyone had this problem before?

Engine surging, not revving, while stopped like rocking a clutch. Door locks pop up & down & lock when you kill ignition with the door still closed.

RPM up and down if car is stoped and sometimes it goes off. If driving its ok but if u want to stop at traffic light suddenly RPM goes from low to high and the transmission will jerk to change gear unless u continue to press brake than it will not jerk. Also engine light on and ABS comes on and off if ur stopping at the light wether ur using break or not.

When idling it’s jerky and when I’m driving constant speed it’s jerking. I got the codes read at auto zone and it says that the I need new 02 sensors but the mechanic says I need new coils and spark plugs ? But when codes were read at auto zone it didn’t say I needed those just o2 sensors any suggestions ?

Anyone have issues with their sonic jerking around 140000miles? Every time I press the gas to get up to speed it feels like there is little to no power to get up to speed and jerks, no codes or dash warnings are coming up. I'm at a loss. I've already replaced the cooling fan, thermostat, coolant hoses, timing belt, and other odds and ends.

I have the same problem with my sonic when i change from 1 to 2 it jerks especially if the engine is hot , does anyone knows anything with the compression system of sonic ? my sonic does not have power aswell
