@JacoYes I replaced my coil pack twice in a 5 months peroid, the cat wil start to miss and a vibration like the engine is shaking. My beat advice sell the car now its a total melon piece of shit kak I fixes the car more than I drove it

@JacoI did head gasget coil pack water leaking isues I can give you a full list of problems that car is my opinion soos ons se hier in suid afrika is poes kak kar, just sell it man then also youre not gonna get alot for it bought mine in 2015 for 140k (south African rand) sold it this year September its like a curse has been lifted when webuycars.co.za took that car anyhow I got like 60k for it

On the sonics, the engine fan is tied into the a/c system. I also changed the fan, multiple sensors, fuses only to find out the a/c refrigerant was low not allowing the compressor to engage. Added some 134a and ta da everything works fine. After a month it did it all again. I found out then the Schroeder value on the low pressure port was slow leaking. Fixed and no issues since.

In 2011, I bought a Sonic 2012 who turned out to be absolutely faulty. The first problem was with the braking, which did not work or did whenever it wanted to. It was then found that some hoses that control the emptiness were damaged. Later, the ABS began making a terrible noise like the one of an old car. Finally, it started jerking because something in the transmission was failing, and even two times a little engine of the air conditioning gate broke down.

Mine is 2018 sonic, it's jerking, shuts off while driving, jerks, won't up a hill when I lose the RPM, any advice, my mechanic said it was ABS sensor, changed that, changed the ABS switch, still nothing, the ABS light is off since I replaced the switch, he says it was 4 more sensors had to be replaced

Radiator fan not running

Chevrolet Sonic 2016 Sonic 1.8 hatch back 89000 miles

The Radiator fan is not running. Replaced it because the speed resistor was damaged, but still not coming on. Did replace the alternator, it was pushing 13.1 volts after it warmed up. Fuses and relays look good. My tester can activate the fan and the Air Conditioner.

A mi me pasa que no me funciona aire acondicionado ni calefacción. El compresor acopla y enciende la luz de ac y también la luz de calefacción pero no sopla el aire. Sería el soplador/ventilador no se activa

In the fuse box, you must turn the box over and identify the fuse and relays. First, check the 40 amp fuse that corresponds to the radiator fan, which is in the corner next to the high and low speed fan relays.
