Where is the fuse for the engine oil level sensor

Skoda Octavia 2011 Octavia Scout auto, 2.0 diesel RHD 148000 miles
The orange light flashes intermittently. The oil level is correct when dipped. A garage tells me to replace the sensor at around 135.00 plus a couple of hours labour! (without testing the unit) or, ignore it and check the oil level regularly. My point is whether there is a loose connection activating the warning light. So, which fuse is involved as I cannot find it on the diagram ?
WHY? Because fuses 1, 27, and 37 fused with the car stationary, and thereby a n unsolved mystery. I just wonder if this sensor connection is at fault.

Sorted!. The car fuses 1,27,37 all blew at the same time whilst the car was parked AND UNATTENDED. A mystery for the mechanics as to what might have caused this. Eventually solved when it was proved that the oil level sensor on these series2 models needs to be checked for damp, loose connection etc, before rushing out to buy a new sensor. This one works perfectly now, the oil light does not come on and the fuses do not blow. The connection was loose, it must have shorted out, and the feed goes into the dashboard main fuse (1) rendering the car mamangement function inoperable. Owners could well check this out as a blown fuse because of this sensor connection failing is a weird way to kill all the electrical functions. In this case, even the PARK feature could not be released. The car had to be repaired on the road. So, problem solved.

Just a few days ago the car went into "safe mode" meaning lost the biggest part of its horsepower and at the same time the preheaters warning lamp was blinking. After a visit to a mechanic he told me that the obd indindicated several malfunctions such as, faulty preheater No 3, EGR valve problem and low turbo pressure. After thinking a lot and after seeing that the EGR valve was in good condition we just replaced the above mentioned preheater. The cost was not low (290 € just for the preheater) but as they mentioned it is a complicated part that includes a pressure sensor that can cause not only malfunctions but can mislead the mechanic to search the problem elsewhere.

That light is indicating that there is a damaged airbag.

Be careful that when the airbag light is turned on, the ITV does not work.

I bought my car in march, 2006 and, after two weeks of usage, the airbag indicator turned on. The vehicle has now got almost three years and, after visiting the official Skoda agency 4 times, the light keeps turning on. All they do is turn it off with a machine, but the failure is not repaired.

The same happened to me and I found the problem when I took out the seat, as I noticed that the wire was damaged and grounding at the level of the hinge where the seat belt is anchored. I cut it, of course after disconnecting the connector from under the seat, isolated it with heat shrink tubing after welding it, and the problem was solved. It's been two years already and I've had no failures since then.

Hello I got this problem with my sensors. When I put my car in reverse message with park pilot not avaliable will pop out with orange triangle on dashboard. I have already replaced all sensors.

Hello I solved it. It was faulty electronic control unit under steering wheel. I just swapped it and it works now.
One problem I had was that I tried 2 of those. One worked but stopping while reversing was not avaliable. So i ordered another one and now everything works great

I tried unplugging battery too but it did nothing. And with those two controll units.
I had in my octavia controll unit with part number ending with B (in picture i highlighted that number)
So i ordered one from scrapyard for 30€ with same part number but it had that one function disabled and as far as I know it's not avaliable for purchase. So one that works is newest compatible model of that unit and it ends with letter D instead of B and it was 250€
I hope it helps because I searched everywhere and there was no one with same problem in any forum.

Hello, everyone. I own and Octavia Combi Collection 130 6v and, since the moment I bought it, I've been having annoying failures in the transmission and gearbox. I took my car to the agency and, after changing the instrument panel, EGR, differential, stereo and many other excuses, no solution has been yet found to my problem. I'm so disappointed.

I have skoda octavia mk3 whenever I have to accelerate suddenly spiral spring light starts flashing on the dashboard and the car losses significant power also whenever on the motorway going slight uphill this happens and it smells like burning but when I restart the car flashing light disappears and it gets back to normal until I accelerate and the problem starts again.

Though the cruise control icon is visible on dashboard ready to be turned on, when i try to turn it on; a symbol appears over the icon. So it appears the on/off button is working as the symbol appears when wanting to set speed

Good afternoon all,
So... I have this strange issue. The drivers side headlight operates absolutely fine except high beam. There's no clicking like on the left side.
Low beam fine, indicator fine, AFS fine. When the lights are off I can flash both headlights on the stork but they are a low beam flash. The lights operate fine in auto and when switched manually - just no high beam
The onboard computer says check right rain light on the dash
I have scanned the car with Carista and have this fault code - B121C15 – Right low beam headlamp reflector motor: Open circuit/short circuit to B+

For a while, I've been having problems with the gauges, as they usually work for a short period of time and then change to zero. I was told to change the dashboard. I have always thought it was a short circuit, but the electrician told me it was an electronic problem. Another thing that I wanted to share is that, sudenly, when turning the ignition key to start the engine, it does not respond. It seems as if that last move of the key was blocked and the engine cannot be sarted. I really do not know what to do.

It happened to my car that the gauges were working properly and suddenly turned off and the problem was the ignition switch on the back. Two wires had joint because of the heat and were in a short circuit. I changed the switch and replaced the burnt wires and the problem was solved.

I've just had my gearbox repaired by a Skoda dealer in Cartagena, Spain. They had to replace the sensors. Since then, I have had lots of electrical problems.
