It is the VTC actuator

@AKayFunny that’s exactly what I was told, and it toasted a fuel injector too
I was recommended to contact Honda customer service. Apparently it’s a known issue but no recall has been put out
I had a few episodes of the vehicle having trouble accelerating, felt sluggish then it would throw up the check engine light. Pulled over turned car off waited a second then the light would be off. This happened to me three separate occasions in the past 5/6 months so finally got it checked at the dealership and they let me know the problem. Seems like emailing corporate for help has paid off though

When i start the car is all good but the check engine light is on, when i try to go over 2800 rpm the car stutters and wont let me go past that rpm, sometimes when is on good temperature i turn it off and on and the light’s still on but the car lets me go past the rpm limit. Sorry if my english is bad, im from argentina.

Once my car reaches 43 mph it skips and revs up for a second then goes back to normal but then my D on the dash blinks(or whatever gear I put it) until I turn the car off. When you turn it back on the letters no longer blink. Any help?

Hesitation or lack of throttle response

Most of the time, it's in the mornings, you don't feel anything on the throttle pedal and then it Kicks in. There's no mill light. Feels like an air pocket in the fuel system. Or no response on the throttle pedal.

Cylinder 4 misfire

I initially began fixing some of the minor problems with this specific code. The first being the fuel filter. I can't get the bottom bolt to unscrew so I set the task aside for the time being. Then I began getting some problems. The rpm keeps going up and down while in park and/or neutral, and now it's starting to shift gears harder and jump when I accelerate or decelerate.
