When the headlights are on, and I turn off the engine, and open the driver's door, the ALARM no longer beeps...telling me I left my lights on.

Turns out that there is sensor in the driver's door (a push in/push out knob with a rubber cover. It was sticking...so some lubrication, and voila! Sensor working again and lights left on alarm all good!

How did you get the rubber cover off? When I tried to pull it off, it will not come off, and when I pried on the switch with a panel removal tool, it felt as though it was bending the assembly, so I quit.

I checked the headlight relays and they were both good, then checked for voltage at the bad headlight plug. I had voltage there and noticed there was some dielectric grease present. I plugged the bulb in again and it worked.

Back light in dash doesn’t come on when I turn on my headlights

I changed the cluster and it’s still not working I changed the bulb and still nothing. All the other lights work it’s just the back light so in the night when I’m driving the dash is black unless I turn my signal on or I take my seat belt off.

I gave Safelite technician the keys to my 2015 CRV. I requested specifically not to replace my windshield wipers as my right wiper did not work.
After installation he handed me the keys, and I noticed that the headlights seemed dim and wondered why he had left them on, but didn’t say anything. Within an hour I attempted to start the car and leave. The car would not start. It would not even turn over. IAlso all the dashboard lights were flashing even ones I had never seen before. Wow, no comments I thought somebody would have had some idea why the car won’t start directly after the windshield was installed. The Honda technician online said that my battery was discharged and told me to get a jumpstart for 15 minutes and keep it running, but I did that and I also even got a whole new battery. The car turns over but does not finish. It’s like the gas goes to the ignition, but it doesn’t finish throwing up lol

Was the 7.5 amp fuse no. 15 on the fuse board under the drivers side for small ext. Lights. Replaced with spare and all ok.

Have replaced a lot of headlights in the last year and now both low beams at same time. Costly issue not to mention dangerous.

I’ve had the issue in my 2009 CRV. It’s an electrical issue.
I thought I was crazy. My 2006 crv is the same. I have to replace them every couple months. Do you know what kind of electrical problem?
Replace the connectors for the headlights at the same time. Well known issue

The battery won't charge unless the headlights are on. New alternator did not help. Someone said its a ground problem and that the alternator isn't charging because there isn't enough of a demand thats why I keep the headlights on

It started when my dashboard lights started flickering. Then I noticed that my low beam light on drivers side is out. Then, call me crazy, but when I’m driving it almost feels like I’m on a hoverboard or that my car is sliding. I thought I was constantly on black ice but I’m not. It seems to be having a hard time being “zippy”: The acceleration seems slower. I really have no idea. I do drive my car ALOT. 3020 CR-V with 127,000 miles!

Poor Low beam

The lights on my honda crv rd1 have poor lighting on low beam, they are yellowish and impossible to drive on. But on high beam they are okay. I have replaced bulbs, cleaned the lights and checked on fuses. Unfortunately i dont have the fusebox cover which should identify fuses. But from checking all fuses they are okay
