I've got some issues with my Honda Civic 96. One day the d4 light in the dashboard started blinking and the vehicle started jerking a bit when I changed it from P to R. I've been told that the problem was there was some short circuit in the wiring that reached the speed sensor. An original connector was installed in the car and the light stopped blinking, but only for 2 km. I was then told that the oil was responsible for blocking the speed sensor and that the transmission needed a full repair. I own a Civic 2000 and when this happened to me, I was informed that there was a thick missing wire that connects the battery to the engine. Once it was installed, the accelerator worked properly and the d4 stopped blinking, but unfortunately this only lasted 4 days. The problem has returned, and I believe it is an electronic matter.
