Hi guys, I have Ford ranger 2006 2.5 turbo diesel. It has stated a habit of not starting. Only cranks, emit smoke whilst cranking but won’t star. Injectors been replaced, battery normal, etc. Pls advise.

Cruise control and horn
Ford Ranger 2006 3.0L 6cyl 225000 miles
2006 Ranger cruise control won't set speed. The light cone on when the on button is pressed but the set speed button doesn't work. Also, the horn works intermittently. I'm thinking it's the clock spring in the steering wheel. How can I confirm this and how hard is it to replace? Thanks.

I have replaced fuse, multifunctional switch,bulb, and the relay

I finally got my blinkers to work I had broken wire connected to my multifunctional switch, rewired it then tada my blinkers were good.

I gave someone a jump the other day. When I got home I must have left something on. I'm not sure. I was in the house for 15 minutes and I came out ready to go somewhere and it barely even clicked. Got a new battery today and now it won't even make a sound. None of the lights inside come on. The horn doesn't even work. It is completely dead. I checked the fuses and they all looked good. How do you check the relays to see if they are bad or good.
