It's your ignition were you put your key in is not turning your ignition switch. If you unscrew it and use a screw driver or your key and it starts that's the problem. I have an 2010 escape and it stumped me too

My 07 escape XLT won't crank won't start, the gauges don't work on dash the radio don't work and my obd2 port won't work either. I bypass/jump the starter relay under the hood and it cranks and it counts like it's cranking real fast like no timing chain is there but won't start

Where you able to fix this issue, my dad is having the same problem with a 2011 ford escape

I have not yet. My next step at this point is replacing the timinf chain with sprockets and tensioners all new

Light bulb for taillight and stoplight is one bulb with dual element.
Stoplight feature in both right and left bulbs had failed.
Replaced both. Problem solved. Third stoplight is a complete unit and needs to be replaced also….no bulbs to replace.

Dashboard

Ford Escape 2002  120000 miles
As it was a rainy season, I was driving with the frost on when suddenly the dashboard went crazy: both the abs and handbrake lights turned on, the air conditioning and windscreen wipers worked faster, and even the needles started moving from one side to the other. But still there was no engine failure.

I replaced the whole casing, not just the bulb and it still doesn't work... High beam works fine but low beam still nada.
Dave from United States 19 days ago
Probably a fuse, some vehicles have a fuse for each light and low or high beam.
Tara from United States 19 days ago
No fuse identified in the manual for a 2016. I was hoping that was it. The product description for the headlight says it doesn't require a power control module so maybe it's the bulb?

Either change your tail lights because tail and breaks are the same bulb but use different connections for the tail lights and that connection died out or your taillight fuse blew and if that’s the case you might have a cut wire somewhere so first replace cause it’s the easiest and if not follow the wire and cut where it’s damaged and connect the wires by matching the color and use a heat shrink or something similar to keep the connection strong replace fuse and you should be good to go

Pulsing electric and engine rev

Ford Escape 2011 V6 242812 miles
Ford mechanics
My 2011 ford escape limited 3.0 v6 has electric issues.
While driving the electric power steering locks up on its own then lets lose and clicks under the dash
Headlights dim and brighton on their own. The whole dash, radio, ac controls, go off.
The engine pulse up and down but never shuts down. David white and i have trouble shooted this issues so many ways. This sounds like its an electrical issue. It picks a new item to mess with every few days. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful.

My headlights power windows and AC are not working

Ford Escape 2005 V6 168000 miles
I recently got a 2005 escape and please overlook that I have no idea how to do work on vehicles but I bought this car and from the start I knew it had electrictrical problems to say the least. But I will be very happy to see the AC work and I have to get the headlights to work and I will be very grateful for any solution to get the windows to go up and down. I think I checked the fuses and I believe they are fine. The power locks work and the interior lights come on the radio is not working. I know that this is a lot to ask but I will be very grateful for any advice or solutions to these problems. Thank you for your thoughtful
