"Transmission Fault" warning comes up on the HUD. Shortly after, it goes into limp mode "Power reduced to protect engine due to high temperature". Alldatapro says there's 2 open recalls for my vehicle: NHTSA # 20V331 Recall# 20S30
NHTSA # 22V413 Recall# 22S43

Suddenly did not start after 250 mile trip, no existing codes before trip. Car sat for a whole day and when going to leave to return home ignition did not light up when key turned. When wiggling trans shifter everything lit up but would not start even with new battery.

Engine does not turn over. All dash lights come on and go off normally. Headlights work. Door locks can be cycled with fob. Can unlock shifter and it will move but mashing brake will not release shifter.

Driveing down the road it just quit pulling n lost all gears

I was goinh down the rd abs light came on a min or so later stoped at a redlight and it died wouldnt start so i changed the altanator now the cluster or radio dosnt work and i have to put a screwdriver in little hole on the gear shifter to get it outta park

Transmission when I put the shifter in a gear it dies but it starts in neutral and park both and erratically hard shifting and over spun transmission fault light comes on vacuum line on drivers side hard plastic size of pencils is broke off keep getting incorrect ratio on numerous solenoids erratically rough shifting wont shift at all replaced bushing but s till feels like the gears are a little off

Car runs and drives great. Not had any problems till now. The obd port doesn't work. So I can't have the system checked. But I have changed the breaks and abs sensors. And still the same problem.

Was driving and car shut off. Tried plugging in scanner and it had power but wouldn’t communicate. Ecm relay was clicking multiple times. Towed to shop. They replaced fuse box and now it will operate normal most of the time. There is a code for transmission range sensor that’s located internally. Opened up trans and replaced. No change. Car will randomly think it’s in D as soon as you insert the key to start it. Turn key off and on and will usually start. Sometimes have to turn key off and wait for the display to power off and then it will start. Also when shutting engine off it will engage starter for a split second and make contact with fly wheel to abruptly stop the engine.

As soon as I press on the gas to accelerate, the RPMs shoot up to 3000 and it feels really slow to change gears. After awhile, and getting up to speed, it will calm down to 1500-2000. Is this absolutely a slipping transmission or could it be something less extreme?

Strong vibrations when driving on the highway one every two times.
I feel that the vibration is caming from the automatic transmission

DMV inspection OBD failed. Readiness failed.

I’ve tried replacing the ignition switch, the neutral safety switch, manually putting transmission in park (which it is in park), the shifter cable is in perfect condition, transmission is fine, but the instrument cluster will not read that it is in park, only in drive. I just got a nee cluster and installed it, and it still says it is in drive. I just help.

I wanted to change out my shifter know bc mine was broken and crackled. When I bought the new one I was unaware that I bought one that fit a manual shifter as mine was an automatic with overdrive button. Instead of putting it back together that night I threw all the pieces in a box and drove. The overdrive cable that connects to the shifter kept coming off.
