Chevrolet Silverado 2005 15000 miles
While driving, suddenly 2 of the ventilations start giving off hot air and the other 2 cold. I then have to stop the car, turn off the engine and wait for 5-10 minutes until I can start it again working properly. It is not that often that this failure takes place but I would like to solve it. Thanks.

My van had this inconvenient and it was a freon gas deficit.

Buddy, the vehicle has got a switcher containing some sensors and 40 amp fuses. Try changing them and checking whether your problem is solved.

I get air on both sides but the air from the driver side vents is only slightly cool. I did a hard reboot of the electrical system by disconnecting the battery for at least 15 minutes than reconnecting everything. Didn’t fix it. 2022 Silverado 2.7 L custom

Mine too but it does not blow cold at all on any vent

Defrost intermittently working cold then hot and back to cold with noise like a blower or under the hood, It sounds like a compressor. A/c Compressor and defrost is related. I am not sure if it vacuum controlled or electronic controled

I figured out it was the thermostat. The upper house was cold, thus the thermostat was shut,, The noise that sounded like a blower,, was the fan on the truck. Turns out it is a very intelligent system , The truck has a brain, that when the thermostat is stuck and senses the truck engine is hot,,, it does all it can to put all efforts to cool the engine. Thus it increase fan speed to a very high speed and shuts down all demands to the cab,,. It shuts down the defrost to conserve energy and to protect the engine... a good thing... I learned a lot and I hope this helps the next person... I am used to old school V8's that you tune by ear. This was a real cool lesson, no pun intended :). I feel very good about the technology our cars have built in them. Mahalo,, Thank you

Commenttail lights don't flash for turn signal or hazards

I hope someone can shed some light on my issue. When using the turn signal to turn left, it blinks once normally on the dashboard then blinks on and off rapidly. The tail lights are not lighting up or blinking to indicate that the turn signal is on. I also noticed that the hazard lights also do not flash in the driver side tail light. I checked the fuse box inside next to the steering wheel and noticed the BCM fuse keeps blowing out. I've replaced it multiple times but at this point I'm just wasting fuses. I just got a new battery and ordered a tail light pigtail because it seems like someone'… Read complete

There is a tail light circuit board mounted on the frame. They are known to go bad. They are fairly inexpensive, I would give that a shot.
Have you by chance changed your bulb recently in those lights? If you use a LED bulb without a resistor the truck will think the ball is burnt out and cause that behavior.
I had to change my whole fuse box out but it fixed the problem.

Door control quit working - has been replaced. Data port quit working after first attempt to pull codes, A/C quit working. Speedo and RPM work on dash, but all other guages quit working. Inspected dash, moved A pillar ground on driver to body ground, no change. Passenger window quit working. Grounds under hood inspected but not moved, seem to be OK but not sure if I should reground those. There's another ground on passenger side A pillar haven't found that one yet. Fuses replaced, no change.
When I first replaced the driver control center, I could control only driver side window, and mirror, and passenger control worked on window, then it quit next day.
