Engine misfires, stalled while driving. Found blown ignition coil fuse, ignition coil for #5 cylinder inop. Replaced all spark plugs, ignition coil, wouldn't start. Tested and replaced PCM, truck ran great for 3 months. Some issues. Eventually, after getting the PCM and ignition coil replaced under warranty, and replacing all coils, I replaced the wire from the PCM to the # 5 coil and replaced the electrical clip to the coil. It's been 8 months, still running fine.

A year ago it started to stall out on me while i was driving. I could throw it into N and she would start back up But then it started happening more often until 8 months ago that trick no longer works. Now i can get it to start up once in awhile but if i shut it off it wont start again. I have replaced the fuel pump twice, replaced the spark plugs, replaced the starter, replaced the ignition mode, bought a stupid chip for the TIPM because one so called repair shop said that was the problem (it wasnt). The last guy who came to look at it said he believes there might be a short in one of the wir… Lire en entier

2011 dodge ram 1500 4.7 v8 crank but wont start changed spark plug changed fuel pump cleaned injectors. It will start if I spray gas in air box but dies when I stop. What else can I check

Engine Sometimes quits but will restart after sitting a short while. Checked spark when this happened & no spark. Replaced Coil, didn't make any difference. Doesn't happen all the time. It does it randomly.

Check engine oil level! I had the same issue with Cherokee.
I've had the same issue for a while now. So I'm curious what the fix is too
My 2013 1500 will just die at idle when its cold. Will restart and run fine. No codes stored. My research says fuel pump. But why only when its cold???
Check your camshaft sensoror or crankshaft sensor. They tell it when to spark

Had the same issue, turns out after doing a tune out that the cam shafts is bad resulting in the misfire. Turns out this is common in rams due to the fuel conservation (eco mode) while on the interstate where 4 cylinders shut down automatically to conserve fuel. Apparently over time, it wears the cams down and develops a misfire. Very expensive fix.

Check to see of the fuel pump is operating. When starting the vehicle you should be able to hear the fuel pump kicking on. If the fuel pump is bad, it can cause a crank no start

Feels like it loses power when I accelerate over 40mph. Checked Catalytic Converter and spark plugs. No luck

Acceleration suffers at any speed. Hasn't died on me yet but feels like it wants to. Also showing obd code 0443. Fuel pump is fine. (Most)Sensors, spark plugs and timing belt are new. Any ideas?
