RAM 1500 2017 Le meilleur :Transmission. Of all the brands I’ve owned, this 8HP70, shifts exactly where I would manually shift if I had to. Even without tow/haul mode, I like the way it downshifts when braking.Le pire :Electronics in the steering wheel stopped working properly at less than 3 years old.
RAM 1500 2006 SLTLe meilleur :it has been a very very reliable truck for me through all the abuse and neglect of previous owners and it has never once left me stranded. it is a very fun and dependable truck and if you are ever thinking about purchasing one i say go for it a ram 1500 4.7 is the best band for your buck you are looking for a decent reliable work truck and play toy to drift around in the rain or play in the mud!!Le pire :One thing i can say bad about the ram 4.7 is it will get hot under heavy abuse sometimes and these motors do not like heat at all heat will always cause the end of these engines0
RAM 1500 2013 4dr/5.7/Le meilleur :The ride is comfortable and gas mileage is good on the highway.Le pire :Alot of electrical problems. Passenger side headlight keeps going out melting wiring plug, but it's not the bulb. Wipers will not stop until I pull fuse. Trailer plug doesn't work sometimes.1

RAM 1500 2025 BighornLe meilleur :Build quality is good, quiet and smooth driving. Touch screen tech (radio) is easy to use.Le pire :3.6L V6 engine gets a check engine light due to a software bug -something to do with new electrical wiring for model year. They have a software update to fix with but currently only fixes 98% of the time. So lucky me - I have to wait for another round of software patches to be developed. Truck runs great, just annoying to have a engine light on every so often.

RAM 1500 2010 v8 5.7Le meilleur :great truck to look at. its been great for the most part. never had any transmission problems. most components to change are doable being a youtube mechanic.Le pire :I've had to change out the engine at 186,000 miles. I've had to get lifter repairs again after 28,000 miles after changing the motor. has issues with the exhaust manifold and making it too much noise and rattle. gas milage also isn't great.

RAM 1500 2002 4.7L v8Le meilleur :This truck has been through hell and back! It has towed a lot more than what the stats have listed. It has been a vacation vehicle as well as a daily work truck. And it has survived 5 kids growing up thanks to the entertainment/sound system that my 12 year old put together on a strict budget. Just to give you an idea as to how old it is, it has an original PS1 and a VCR in it! I have kept up with all the repairs needed along the way. It is very easy to work on.Le pire :There are only 2 complaints about the truck. First the amount of leg room in the back seats. As the kids got older, we had to shoe horn the older ones in. And they were over 6'5". 2nd, of course I have to mention the TIPM. The whole fuse box is very open to the elements, so it has finally been destroyed by corrosion and oxidation everywhere! And what I don't understand is why Dodge put a recall out on this exact TIPM, but only for 2 of the high end vehicles like the Jeep Grand Cherokee. L0
