Transmission: It is the place where the different "gears" of the cars are located.

There is a shaft that comes from the engine and then there is another one that comes out of it and goes to the wheels. Through a set of gears, it moves at different speeds even when the engine moves at just one constant speed, so it takes advantage of the engine's power. They may be manual or automatic.
Last night i was leaving to the store,, when the car sounded like it was about to start but then it didn't. OBD showing error U111A and U110F. Battery is at 12.2v
The reverse lights will not work when I put the shifter in reverse. Checked the reverse light switch that's good. Getting 12.0 volts from wires going to reverse light switch. Could it be FRM

Inspect the shifter lever linkage on the side of the transmission. There’s also a bypass if you remove the shifter boot towards the front of the handle with red marking, press it and it should allow you to move the shifter. If it’s still not moving the problem is in the cable, check on side of transmission.
Thank you for helping out my problem I am going to check on the side of the transmission were the cable is. And to see if the cable moves freely like it should.
Ok So i have an E36 320i,1993,manual gearbox , which i really really really love , that have a problem, suddenly it stops and dont starts back, its not the battery , nor the antitheft alarm, i even tried to jump start the battery it never worked out any ideas why this happens ? Thank for your replies guys.
Hello group! I've been having problems with the ABS, DSC, and 4x4 systems for a while now. The error appeared suddenly and without any prior signs. I've already replaced the ABS sensors and the CV joint rings/tone rings (on the driveshaft/axle) but it didn't solve anything. I had the car scanned and it indicates that there might be a missing contact/connection (or an open circuit/signal loss). But I don't know where the problem might be. Have any of you encountered this before?
Hello, i dont own a 4x4, but i might help. My friend owned 330d xdrive, had the same problem, his contact loss was at the rear wheel axle, might be the same for you. As far as i know there are a few cables running through there.
Do a “throttle reset”
Turn the ignition to the 'on' position without starting the engine. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down, and hold it for 30 seconds. While keeping the pedal down, press the start button, then release the pedal and wait for about two minutes before starting the car normally
Torque converter seal replacement now it doesn't run right I don't think the correct procedure was followed putting the transmission fluid back in the vehicle
Turbos have been replaced in the past, gears seem ok and the vehicle drives. The light comes on after about 10mins of driving. Sometime is ok for longer. No other issues with the vehicle.
