I have problem when i switch on the car 5 warning lights appear ( abs, traction, …) same like image and when i switched off and switched on again lights disappeared and appear again in the next day
So I unattached the negative battery cable to reset the 4WD high because it would not go back to 4WD Auto. After doing this I've had problems starting the car. Before this not one issue. So the battery is charged reading 12.75V and all interior lights, power locks are functioning. The problem is there is no crank when I turn the key. Nothing, not a sound, no click... Zero. The dash lights up, alert bell rings but nothing from the engine.
New front brakes and rotors when stopping car below 20 mph auto jerks to stop air in brake line possible how does this happen when doing a brake job. No ABS light in dash. ABS was engaging when braking.
The problem was the new rotter part was bad the abs sensor light was not on, but the reinspection of the new rotters showed that's the ABS interior part was bent or a manufacture defective part. Replaced rotter and new seals. Auto drives fine now with no noise or bumping to a stop. They tried to charge me for a system check test. I called Corp they said no Charge. When you have a problem with retailer just call Corp . It takes a few days to a week to resolve any problem you may encounter with regional or national chain stores.
My first question would be does anybody know which slot for the power door lock fuse? The second part of this is the other night my door locks started acting like I was just holding them down and it just kept making the same noise that it makes when it locks or unlocks you can hear the motor just keeps going. And it's running my battery down so I wanted to pull the fuse because I don't have a way to fix locks right now. I kind of feel like it has something to do with my sunroof leaked and so the inside of the vehicle got damp I got it dried out and no mold or anything like that but it doesn't mean it didn't hurt the electrical. Any help is appreciated thank you so very much.
I don't think moisture is the issue. Always check fuses for loss of power and or inefficienct power supply. However intermittent controlling of your power locks most likely means there's a short somewhere between power supply and device (driver side power control module. ) also sufficiency within the ground path from power supply to module is important as well.
Drivers side headlight stays on after locking the doors. Stays on for 15 minutes then turns off. Items checked: Door sensors are working, light switch works properly, all fuses test out, removed headlight harness from light, tested power. Pin 3 (low beam) gets 12.3v for 15 minutes then shuts off. All others turn on and off with switch. Assuming bad BCM relay or BCM software issue. Thoughts?
Hey there. About 4 months after I bought the car the rear row head rests stopped working and stay down. Now one is stuck back up. I hear this from a lot of people as common. Maybe a recall on this? As this is dangerous for neck support to be jeopardized
Car was jumpstarted and too many amps went through the car causing a short. Some fuses blew and were replaced. The interior radio, dash, locks, window switches and lights stopped working. Replaced all exterior lights that blew and are working now. The abs pump stays on and only shuts off when the relay is removed. Some fuses show ground on one side and the other side shows positive when checked. I hav been trying to figure out the problem but nothing seems to fix it. I wanted to know if there is anything else I am missing before replacing the ECU or getting a new fuse box. The car turns on and runs like normal aside from the problems stated above.
Laque lo hace y la caja decid luz del ABS destella 14 veces y la caja de cambios se cambió porque golpeaba cuando ya tenía ratos funcionando y aún lo hace apesar de que se cambió 5R55w modelo
The ABS and traction control lights come on when the engine revs exceed 3000 rpm.
When the car is turned off and restarted, they go out.
What is the cause of the problem?
When adding the lighted visor wires I must have done something wrong and now my dash lights are constantly on. The abs, traction control, tire pressure and brake all lit up. All The warnings service advance trac, tire pressure monitor fault, check brake system come on and stay on. Any ideas on where to start or what I may have done to trigger this? Also there is now no power going to the climate control.
So I'm in my 2003 Ford explorer yesterday, when all of a sudden I noticed the odometer readingv looked wierd. It looked like letters. I pressed the little botton by tree odometer. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Every light lit! It is old and pretty tired and beat up but runs great otherwise. I pulled over, put it in park. Turned off headlights. I pressed the odometer button and got 3L2F in odometer area. Pressed it again and it went back to normal. Drove fine after the incident but I didn't go very far. I have to go out to cemetery today and hoping I don't get stranded there. I had to rip off tail pipe the other day because it was dragging hanging on by a thread. Abs light comes on alot even though I've replaced brakes and rotors.
All windows do not work intermittently. Problem started after I had brakes done. None of the switches will work on any of the doors. If I pull the keys and close the drivers door then open the drivers door close the door put keys in ignition and start the engine the windows will work until I shut off the engine and open the door. All of the door locks work and the mirror adjuster works even when the windows don't.
