Heard a grinding noise and the instrument panel stopped working. It started working again after turning the engine off and on again.

Got a reman cluster from dealer. Had them flash it. Got home did an oil change next morning went to start it to finish oil change. Would not start. Thought it might be the battery. I had another one. Put it in finish up with oil change. Came back out 2hrs later dead again. Charged that battery for about 3hrs. Started it back up checked the charging system 14.50+ volts. Is there a place other than Behind the grill/lights to connect the load resistor to mange the hyper flash? Looking for a spot under the dash or near fuse blocks that has easier access to the individual wires rather than removing the headlight assemblY, again. Tia

Left passenger door has no indication it’s open. Only power it has is the ability to lock and unlocking. Window does nothing and or if the door is open it doesn’t turn on my Tahoe cab light or show door open in the dashboard indicator spot.

Speedometer stop working when I a drive over 40 mph this happens after I swap the engine. I think something didn't get connected the way it was. I've already changed the speed sensor, I check all the fuses but still the same way.

Short first started when disconnecting trailer harness, vehicle was dead, jumped and had multiple service warnings (stabilitrak, 4wd, power steering, braking, reduced engine power, etc.) and would cause cluster gauges to all bottom out to 0 even while driving along with dozens of codes. Sometimes occurred when hitting brakes. Changed battery multiple times and replaced trailer brake module and still occurs. Took it to dealership and they said it was most likely suspension control module, replaced, reprogrammed and issue is still happening.

Driver's side motor mount was replaced, now fuel gauge doesn't work. All gauges do a sweep upon start up, but fuel gauge stays on E.

I replaced all 4 shock absorbers and a suspension service message is coming in the dashboard

No sound comes from the radio when on; amp was replaced already. What’s odd is when the radio is shutoff after a minute or two the cd icon will just blink. Is the radio unit dead?

I replaced the 4wd switch on the dash and also the front axle shift motor.
The buttons on the switch do light up when I turn key on. Then I start the Tahoe and I have nothing plus the message says service 4wd. I checked the fuses. Any ideas

My cars fuel gauge is always at zero and check engine light is there with code p0463-00.

Changed the throttle body and added ground after engine power loss. Dash lights are not working.

I'll put the key in the ignition and it won't bring power to the dash to see anything like oil,fuel,miles etc and it does nothing when you try to start it from the key I have to start it from the starter just for it to run

So while on deployment my little 35-year-old brother and his incredibly smart friends took my truck off roading, took out all the seats and put some black seats from a charger in my beige leather interior cutting all the harness links to the seats. After scabbing together 35 wires apiece to each seat, the truck won't start at all, I hooked up my autel box and it won't even read the truck not a single module. I am a mechanic and am stumped I haven't looked any further because I'm packing up to move from phoenix to New Mexico and have to drag the shit box with me now.. any thoughts my brothers

Cluster panel not working then the gauges working

This error stays consistently on the obd tester but only affects the truck every so often where it will turn off the radio and the hvac and cluster will shut down. When it comes back it goes through an initialization of unlocking and locking the doors then the cluster comes back reading things like service 4x4 and service stability. Only happens about 5-10 times a year for the last 5 years. I just really need help finding the wiring diagrams for this. Thanks
