test the speed sensor abs sensors in the rotors. go to a mechanic and try a new speedometer on to see if its the speedo thats bad.

I'm trying to change my globes on my instrument cluster but it seems that I need to remove the speedometer nut as well... can anyone tell me how u do this???

Figured out what the problem was... u need to undo the speedometer cable under the bonnet 1st, then u can slowly pull urban odometer cluster out and the remove the cable from the back of urban odometer and then u can change the globes.

It's possible that there is an issue with the dashboard cluster itself, or with the wiring or sensors that provide input to the cluster. The last couple weeks my battery light will flicker for a moment then come on solid followed by all the dash lights and the loss of function in the speedometer. The brights come on and power steering goes off along with traction control. When this happens I pull over and turn the car off, restarting after a minute or so. This clears all of the dash lights and restores function but leaves the check engine light on and the "trac off" light next to it. The code it throws is a p0500 which is for "Vehicle Speed Sensor". Did you ever find the issue? im having the same problem i currently have a high output alternator, almost a year old and its been working fine ever since like last month, im having the same issue and the same engine code, same everything.

Car run fantastic. Out of no where, all dash warning lights are on. ABS, Brake, power steering, airbag, Speedometer and OBD port won’t work.
I have changed every fuse. I have changed relays,
I have unplugged the ABS module and tested the OBD port still no communication. The port actually has power but no communication.
I changed the steering angle sensor and clock spring. I cannot calibrate them because the OBD port will not communicate in my tablet cannot calibrate it. I’m freaking stuck. What the hell do I do? How do I get my OBD port to work?

I started my car after 2 to 3 weeks battery was dead tried jump start a few times didn't worked got my battery charged went to start my car at first as soon the car started rpm went to almost to 2000 and came back to 500 in 2 to 3 seconds then it was high revving at stable at 1000 rpm but accelerator wasn't working as I put my foot on it rpms didn't go up but when I shifted my car into 1st 2nd and reverse gear it did roll and engine check light is also showing on the speedometer
