Dashboard lights suddenly do not work. All other lights work.

Have checked out all other lights, including exterior lights, dome lights, warnig lights on dash. Only the dash lights are not working regardless of dimmer position.
Alternator wiring
Suzuki Sidekick 1994 4 door 1.8l automatic 150000 miles
There is an extra wire on the alternator that I'm not sure where it goes
