Nissan Pathfinder 2007 8000 miles

After a week of buying my car, when driving at 40 mph, it startes vibrating for about 5 seconds. I am worried it might be the transmission, and am thinking about scanning the vehicle. Can someone orient me please?

mave, it must be the transmission that is causing your problem and it needs to be replaced. But be careful that apparently there are many failed or damaged ones out there, so it will be just like doing nothing changing yours for an already damaged one.
