My car revs to 4000rpm before running and when I change gears and if I step on it I’ll reve to almost hit reds or hits red line and it doesn’t run as it use to a week before I don’t know what to do please help

Weird rattling sound when pressing clutch

I bought this 2004 Eclipse GT from a young man that did not know how to drive a manual and I have replaced the starter but the car still will not start I put it into gear and I can still push the car and it moves could the throw out bearings be still engaged?

Hi, I have an Eclipse 1998 american version and my problem is that sometimes, when accelerating, it does not respond properly and tends to choke. When releasing the accelerator and clutching, revolutions normalize. However, when braking slowly in neutral or even when clutching to then start braking, the vehicle sometimes stalls. It also happens to me that, when it is working normally and I am driving only with the clutch, it accelerates and decelerates by itself continuously. Will crank up and go in gear but when let out on the clutch and the car will not move

I put a new clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder in it but it won't go into gear unless you stomp down hard. If u just push it I'm regular to change gears it won't go into gear

I own an Eclipse 97 std and an annoying noise can be heard, as if it were a clutch bearing that is failing. Once I clutch, it disappears. I've already changed the transmission and clutch compressor but the noise persists. Is it that I need to adjust something? Or what is causing this noise? Thanks.
