When the car moves and accelerates, the doors do not lock; they remain open.

When the switch is set to close the mirrors when parked up, it won't fold. There is a motorised sound that just continues while the vehicle is in operation.
When the mirrors need to be opened or folded automatically. It usually is followed with a motorised like sound and would shut off once the mirror is fully opened. In this case, it's not so for the left side mirror only.

I have a 2008 Mazda 3 the car thinks the doors are open but they are shut. I have gone through all the doors and did a jumper wire across the ajar switch and ground to simulate the door being closed but nothing came of that. Do not know where to go next.

Opening the drivers door with the interior door latch will not open the door, the exterior latch opens the door.
