There is a shaft that comes from the engine and then there is another one that comes out of it and goes to the wheels. Through a set of gears, it moves at different speeds even when the engine moves at just one constant speed, so it takes advantage of the engine's power. They may be manual or automatic.
My Ford Freestyle is having issues that doesn't throw no error codes. It starts very fine drives five transmission selection is fine until it's driving for a while then it loses power and the spanner light comes on. When I turn off the engine and wait for a few seconds then turn on the engine it will continue working fine until it's been driving for a while again I have done the servicing of both the engine and transmission but the problem persist pls what could have been the problem

It requires CVT FLUID, and supposed to be redone after another 60k. My mechanic charged me $250 I think. Wasn't much!
