Hi, I have a fiat palio 1.6 sport and after driving a distance when I switch it of then on it only cranks but not start until it cools down couples of hours then it starts like a new car, what could be the problem?

Hi I've got a fiat palio 1.6 16v twincam when I try to start the car it doesn't take there is spark but the connecter to the pump itself has no power how do I fix that. Thanks in advance

When I crank my palio there is spark but no fuel I replaced a broken injector and the fault light still comes on but goes away after a second

Same issue here. Cranks. There is no fuel injection. Cleaned the injectors filter replaced fully tank. What shall I do? Please help

My car is jerking when i drive and it doesnt start then first its cranking but i need to put my foot on accelerator in order to start. It also consumes a lot of fuel with this problem

Check ur coil pack the plug that goes into the coil pack that's ur problem on the 1.6 palio
What could be the issue of the plug going To 1 of the coil pack ?

Occasionally, my Fiat Palio does not start when parked. I've checked and the pump does not make any sound before starting the engine. What I do is to disconnect the 12v connector, check the voltage and, if there is feeding, connect it back and the vehicle works perfectly. But it sometimes happens that the failure appears after a while. I want to point out that, at idle speed, the van never stalls nor jerks. The pump is new and I've already pressed the connectors so as to discard a possible bad contact problem; but the failure persists. What might be happening?

Buddy, I had the same problem and the connector was damaged. When checking the voltage it does work but, when connecting it, it does not make good contact.

I own a Fiat Palio 1.6 16v and I hope someone can help me, because it does not start. There is spark in the spark plugs, positive signal and negative pulsations in the injectors and a good fuel pressure; but the engine does not start. The service light remains turned on and, in order to make the vehicle start working, I need to put a negative signal directly to the double-switched relay in the wire number 7. Anyway, it starts but failing.

Ohw if u missed two or 1line the timing belt it plays a role in not starting the Car Neh??. . . When it's on level ground it goes well immediately when getting the small steep it tell me to lower my gears, when I do so I change the gear to Gear1 &when I make full accelerator it doesn't want to Rev

Meu Palio 1997 está com 95.000km, ficou muito tempo parado e quando tentei funcionar, ele estava com problemas no cabeçote, precisei retificar, troquei radiador, velas, limpeza dos bicos, etc, só que quando anda por algum tempo, quando chega a temperatura normal ele apaga e ao dar partida ele não pega, só pega quando o motor esfria um pouco, mas quando esquenta novamente ele apaga e não pega..ja passou por dois bons mecânicos e não acham o problema, o que pode ser??
I have the same issue and I noticed my timing belt got Alot of sleg on it even if I adjust the tensioner after i couple of swings it's got sleg again can anyone help me please
